Great job! I was banded 2 months ago and I am going in for my 3 fill on Monday. I am down 38 pounds which includes the 8 pounds I lost before surgery. Today I was able to wear my size 20 jeans! I have to remember loose clothes count as much as pounds lost. I still have a long ways to go and I am pleased about my band.

Congrats on your choices. No matter what the goal is choices matter. One of my goals is to get in a 2x belt at work rather than the 3x I have to wear for now. I am almost there.

Hello, I was banded June 4th and I am doing very well. I have lost 26 pounds and for the most part I am not hungry. I went back to work within a week from surgery and was careful about what I did. I have had 2 fills. The first one was 3 weeks ago and it went well. The second one was on Monday this week. The port seems a little more sensitive this week. I also fell off a ladder at work the same day but I was not hurt so I do not know if I hurt the area of the port. Hope everyone else is doing good. I still only eat Protein, and Protein drinks, a little of steel cut oats, and some steamed veggies. I have not dared to try breads, Pasta, rice or sugar foods. I was not drinking enough Water and got a kidney infection. The meds seemed to have worked so I am constantly drinking Water so that does not happen again.
I had the sensation you described when I got my fill the first day and then after that it seemed to go away.

My surgery was June 4. I was off one week. I am a store manager with a very active job. My doctor said no lifting for 4 to 6 weeks. I did my job "normally" after 4 weeks. Remember to talk with your doctor.

My job requires a dress code of tan pants, navyblue pullover shirt, and a belt so the shirt is tucked in. I am the store manger so the dress code is a must. I cannot wait to tuck in my shirt without all my fat showing! That is one reason I got the lap band. Doing good. I was banded June 4th this year. I also agree about the rashes.

Ditto! It's a long battle and being positive is what I try and be. I did not go through all this not to be successful.

Hello everyone again. I have been on vacation for one week to heal from lapband surgery. I will go back to work Mon. I am a store manager and the truck we are getting is 900 pieces. For once I will not be helping to unload the truck. It will be hard not to be in the middle of it but I can do it. I am still on liquids and have graduated to pureed Soup. I take out the noodles and potatoes as my surgen said to stay away from them. I feel better. Has anyone tried any soup that is tasty and full of good Vitamins? I might try and make my own because that is what I will be eating more of this coming week along with the Protein Drinks. Still having a hard time getting all my liquids down. Thanks again for all the great info.
