Two Months Out
Great job! I was banded 2 months ago and I am going in for my 3 fill on Monday. I am down 38 pounds which includes the 8 pounds I lost before surgery. Today I was able to wear my size 20 jeans! I have to remember loose clothes count as much as pounds lost. I still have a long ways to go and I am pleased about my band.

Better Days, Better Choices
Congrats on your choices. No matter what the goal is choices matter. One of my goals is to get in a 2x belt at work rather than the 3x I have to wear for now. I am almost there.

How Long Can You Take Off After Lapband Surgery?
My surgery was June 4. I was off one week. I am a store manager with a very active job. My doctor said no lifting for 4 to 6 weeks. I did my job "normally" after 4 weeks. Remember to talk with your doctor.

What Nsv's (Non-Scale Victories) Are You Looking Forward To?
My job requires a dress code of tan pants, navyblue pullover shirt, and a belt so the shirt is tucked in. I am the store manger so the dress code is a must. I cannot wait to tuck in my shirt without all my fat showing! That is one reason I got the lap band. Doing good. I was banded June 4th this year. I also agree about the rashes.

Going Back To Work One Week After Lapband
Thanks for the tip. I looked at my instant protein and it does not have what I need. I hope this week my doctor OKs me for scrabbled eggs and cottage cheese.

Giving An Update 5 Days Post Operation
Ditto! It's a long battle and being positive is what I try and be. I did not go through all this not to be successful.

Going Back To Work One Week After Lapband
Hello everyone again. I have been on vacation for one week to heal from lapband surgery. I will go back to work Mon. I am a store manager and the truck we are getting is 900 pieces. For once I will not be helping to unload the truck. It will be hard not to be in the middle of it but I can do it. I am still on liquids and have graduated to pureed soup. I take out the noodles and potatoes as my surgen said to stay away from them. I feel better. Has anyone tried any soup that is tasty and full of good vitamins? I might try and make my own because that is what I will be eating more of this coming week along with the protein drinks. Still having a hard time getting all my liquids down. Thanks again for all the great info.

Got My Lapband June 4, 2012
Hello everyone, I am new to this lapband and the internet. Just learning both. Everyone has shared some very good info and I thank you all for that. I am still on liquids and trying carnation instant breakfast. I might get brave and try soup tomorrow. I just went for a short walk in the park and my stomach is jumping up and down. I think it might be hungrey. Trying follow my surgens instructions. I am 54 years old and by my birthday I hope to have lost half of my weight which is Nov. Thanks a bunch
