  1. I am going through the same thing. My current tattoo is on my back between shoulder blades at base of the neck. I want two more and the only places that shouldn't change are my wrists and my ankles. My dilemma is also I work in corp America and I would prefer a more hidden location.
  2. I have high blood pressure and the same thing happened to me. I was dizzy for a good 20 minutes after I got off.
  3. Hello Everyone! I am new to the Site and so glad that I found it. My story is like so many of yours....I have been overweight my whole life and was honestly against Weightloss surgery I thought it was a cop out. But when I hit 350 I knew I couldn't do it on my own and went to a seminar. I quickly realized there is nothing easy about this and it may end up being one of my biggest challenges. I have only told a few close friends and my sister. My family has no idea so the support here will be invaluable. Well I was banded on May 15th and including pre-op I have lost 26lbs. I have not bad a fill yet. It am scheduled for June 20th. I look forward to the journey and thank you all for sharing your experiences!
  4. My stitches made me crazy!!! I never had bandages just the steri strips which I was told not to remove. I showered and just didn't let the Water hit the stitches directly. When the strips started to lift during week 2 I left them because I was told not to pull off, but when I showed my primary she pulled them right off. But then I had these little plastic strings sticking out. My primary said they did not look like dissolvable stitches though...since my next appt with my surgeon is not until July 20th I did something crazy and yesterday I pulled on the strings...they slid right out. I panicked a little but seems ok...anyone have a similar experience?
  5. My date was May 15th.
  6. I guess I was lucky because I really didn't have any issues sleeping. I guess my pain meds had me knocked out.
  7. Congrats!! I can't wait to be under 300!
  8. Hi everyone I am new to this thread and site. I wish I had found this forum before my surgery. I was trying to read from the beginning but decided to get posting. I had my surgery on May 15th and including my pre op liquids which started on Apr 24th I have removed 26lbs!! A really good friend told me not to say lose anymore...cause when you lose something you try to find it and lord knows I don't ever want to find that weight! Well good luck to everyone...I am going to head back to page 20 to catch up I also tried to join the May group but is asking for a password.
