Good for you. I am only 2 days post op, on the table at 8am, home by noon. I have 5 incisions, and slept perfectly on my side the first night. It is a production to switch sides, but thank god sleeping has not been a problem. Stopped pain pills today as I was never really in pain, but am keeping them close just in case. I am burping like a truck driver every time I stand up and today have started passing gas (farting), no shoulder pains so I guess I am lucky so far.

My problem is that today is first day of full fluids and I cannot drink one more ounce. I have hardly had anything today.....3oz greek yoguart, 1 peppermint tea and about 1/3 of an ensure protein drink.....I couldn't even sip water now without feeling uncomfortable - although I will try. I might have to pull out the leftover optifast shakes to to get some more protein in.

Had a nice walk today and might have to nap, then my mother is taking me out to visit my grandmother in the nursing home......that should be exhausting.

You sound like you are doing just great, don't push it with work and take care of yourself. I was told heating pad, peppermint tea and gasx for the gas......I have been od'ing on all 3 since I got home.

I was banded yesterday, feeling just fine. I can honestly say I have had zero pain. (but am taking my meds to stay ahead of potential pain)
