Hi, I know what you mean girl! Im now 5 wks out today and the past couple of weeks havent lost anything, the scale hasnt moved. So I quit looking at the scale and have been noticing my clothes are fitting a little looser and my energy level has been increasing. It sounds like your doing a great job so far, so don't get discouraged and hang in there. I know several people have posted to try to increase the Protein a little bit to break the stall. 3 miles a day? I wish ! so far im walking a 1 1/2 miles in the morning. Well have a great weekend and best of luck to you!!

I was sleeved on 8/17 and so far about the same as you. I measure the portions and can tolerate between 1/4 to 1/2 cup. So far have been really fortunate no n/v, and no abd pain. If I do start to get full start to have hiccups. lowfat ricotta cheese and pizza sauce is good as well.

Hello, I 'm finding it difficult to transition from full liquids to mushy foods, I was sleeved Aug 18th. So far I've tried refried Beans with cheese and instant mash potatoes . I measure everything and so far 1/4 to 1/2 cup servings. My concern is that it will stall weight loss. So far I've noticed the majority of people follow a low carb diet. So my question for the experienced sleevers is what did you find helpful in this stage? Also what did you focus on measuring calories or carbs per day once you resumed regular foods, if so what kind of range? So far Im getting in between 50 to 60 gms Protein and 64oz Water a day with the Protein Shakes . My NUT recommends nothing more than 10gms of sugar and fat in a serving of food, and with the most protein and 600 to 800 calories a day. But I thought if you track your carbs that you wouldnt necessarily have to count calories. I dont think all the lowfat foods are really that healthy. Would love your input on this.

Hi, I was sleeved on 8/17, everything you describe sounds normal, particularly your stomach making noises. I dont know if you have tried the lemon calcete bites by Celebrate but they are really good. Wasnt sure since you mentioned celebrate if you tried those. I just had my first checkup yesterday. Very excited went from 266 to 249.6 !! Im still on full liquids. I wish you the best of luck!!

I see online forums as a place where topics & conversations are ongoing...fresh & timely. If I want just impersonal information I will google it. I felt coming here was for support as well as learning medium. Since reading the rants I now talk mysef out of posting things because I dont want anyone to roll there eyes or mock what I post because what's new for me is possibly old rehashed news to a sleever who is a year or more out.Perhaps there should be 2 forums one for superior/experienced sleevers and one for people like myself called slow/nonexperienced sleevers as Im only 5 weeks out and have lots of questions/ponders for other like sleevers...if they don't mind helping that is.
I'm not talking about why I should not eat 64 oz steak & loaded baked potato 24 hours after surgery...I figured that would be plain silly & painful!
your not alone!
