You're going to be fine. It's just a moment in time. You and I all know from experience that the first 2 weeks of ANY diet is difficult. This too shall pass. Hang in there girl. In 2 weeks I too will be in "b***h" mode with you! :-)

Thanx everyone! I got a good chuckle off of the term "food funeral". That's exactly what it is! You're right, I need to program my mind that I will be able to eat just about everything prior to...just in moderation (or 2 bites). However, eating at the Golden Corral Buffet is out... lol

Is it just me, or do you too have the urge to eat EVERTYTHING you know you won't be able to eat/enjoy anymore after the surgery? My surgery is scheduled for July 18th and I was told by my doctor to lose 5-10 lbs by my pre-op date, but I've been finding myself indulging in foods that I won't be eating anymore to "get my fill". Please tell me I'm not alone with this!
