    Work And Lapband

My surgeon advised 2 weeks and a 10 lb weight limit. As a dialysis nurse that was going to be tough so I am scheduled to be off 3 weeks. This is a major life changing event and should be treated as such. Hopefully by the time I go back to work I will be on solids and able to handle them. I think waiting may be your best option for success. I was banded on 5/23 and am doing fine (except the gas). It is tough to get the Water and Protein drinks in and I haven't managed to achieve that goal yet. I feel waterlogged...

    May Bandsters!

My surgery is scheduled for tomorrow and I need a buddy. I have a question, did anyone else just say heck with it and barely eat for the 10 days? I just can't stand the texture or taste of the protein drinks. My surgeon did allowed me to have upto 1 1/2 cup of light yogurt or cottage daily.
