I have yet to be banded but I keep seeing post about restriction, I'm not sure I understand what this means.

I just had to buy a size 22 jeans and I cried the whole way home, I cant wait till its my turn to write a post like this. Congrats....so exciting!!!

Hi Tina, I too am new to the sight, I have learned so much! We must be in the same area, Dr Curry has an office in Columbus also and that is who is going to do my band. I hope to hear from insurance by this time next week!!

Connie, I am not yet banded either I have however had a consultation and at that appointment I spoke with the person that deals only with insurance. Maybe if you have a surgen that your thinking of going too you could call and talk to someone they may be able to tell you where to start. Good luck!

Hello everyone. I am so happy to have found this site! I have read such great info. I am 34 married for 13yrs and we have 2 children. I started putting weight on about 10 yrs ago, we had to go thru a lot of fertility treatments before I was able to get pregnant and that's what got the pounds started!! Currently I am 260# BMI is 44.9, this is the highest my weight has ever been. I went on 5/16 for my first consultation with Dr Curry in Cincinnati, everything went really well....and now the weighting begins!!

I agree once we get a date the time will probably fly by....at least I hope so!

I too am just getting started, I had my consultation 5/16. At my appointment I met with everyone involved in the process so the apt was about 3 hrs but I'd rather have one long visit then 6 short ones! I have been looking for a time line also but after reading tons of different post it seems like no two people are the same!
