I didnt have to have the sleep study . But did have to have an EKG , Echocardiogram, chest xray, and a bunch of labs . And the psych visit . I was banded on 4/25/12 and I'm down 30 lbs and get my first fill 6/5/12 . Good luck on your journey !!!!

Got ahold of doc , it was a dissolveable stitch that didn't dissolve an worked it's way to the top of the incision . No infection , but really scared me . But thank you grandma3

I am 5 weeks post-op coming up Friday . At times have a little pain at port site . But to day on the right hand side of my big incision was a place that looked like it had puss . When I rubbed it puss came out along with the end of two stitches . Has this happened to anyone else ? Dr office is closed , so I cleaned the area and put a band aid over it . But it is going to drive me crazy til I can get ahold of the doc tomorrow .

Good luck , it is all worth the journey . I was banded April 25, 2012 and go for my first fill June 5. As of today I'm down 26lbs. God is great and knows where we need to be . -
Looking For A Band Buddy?

Hi , I'm Jackie I was banded on April 25 , I am very new to this whole thing and feel lost some times so I would love a buddy . Starting weight was 250 down to 224.8 as of this morning so that's about 26lbs in 4 weeks post-op + 2 weeks pre-op . Not sure if that's great , but I do feel good . Hope you doing well -
