I will not be banded until next week but I am already starting to feel a bit down. I feel like the people around me don't understand how it feels. I feel like i can't go out socially because I dont want to be tempted so I feel alone. I know this is only temporary and once I make the adjustment and recover things can start to go back to normal.... minus all the food and weight!

I am currently on the same diet as you and hav elost my 10lbs... with 5 days to spare. I ate a salad but left it dry with no dressing. I also did marinade my chicken, i needed some taste. I just didn't over do it.

My insurance approved. I have Anthem BCBS and they answer within a week of submitting the paperwork so they did me a favor and get me a temp surgery date. I was approved last wednesday. I would ask your advocate if she knows how long your insurance typically takes to respond and when you might be looking at a sugery date. I am very impatient so i kept calling to make sure papers were submitted and insurance was reviewing. I didn't want the ball to get dropped. Who is your advocate?

I am going through True Results Houston as well and they scheduled my EDG with the surgery who will be doing my Lapband. Call and speak with your advocate and have her help you schedule the procedure.

I was told you can fluctuate between 4-8 lbs... I wouldnt weigh again until its gone.

No, my out of pocket is 1500. They deducted something, don't remember what, since I had to pay so much on my deductable. Not sure what you mean as far as coinsurance.....

That's what I do. When someone cooks lunch on the weekends, I consider it automatic nap time.
