Does sam's have the premier shakes?

I'm so confused about what should I be looking for in a protein drink. I've been using Muscle Milk Lite, but I bought a package of slimfast and its so high in carbs. Any suggestions would be appreciated:)

I am 385 hope to lose about 15 to 20lbs on my liquid preop diet. My surgery is Oct 5th.

No I hadn't had insurance in 5 yrs until now.

I just got my insurance through my husban work in Jan 2012 I got approved after 1st try. It all depends on what's in your medical records. Most companies consider in Pre existing if u receive treatment or advice within 6 months before obtaining coverage. I was so scared about this because I was always advised by my provider to lose weight but it wasn't documented in his records. Therefore they couldn't say it was pre existing. All of this is according to my insurance BCBS AL. Do your own research to be sure, but this was my experience. Good luck!!

I think u should make your question more clearer. As far as researching the different wls its best to research them yourself so you'll know you're getting accurate information. Try google there's tons of info. Good luck:)

This topic reminds me of my dad! My sisters are very neat shapes. They use to say they had shapes like the old coke bottles and I would cry and say "why can't I be shaped like a coke bottle" and my dad would say "baby u shape like a gallon of milk" if u ask a hungry man which would he prefer a coke or a gallon of milk...now u go figure..lol

I'm the total opposite. I'm a big girl but always thought I was FINE..lol don't get me wrong I know I need to lose weight for my health reasons!! But I've Learned to love me in spite of my size. So ya'll can imagine how I will be when I lose weight?? Yes I'm gone think I'm FINE sho nuff!))

I have BCBS AL through my husband's job and they just approved me I met all the requirements and done the 6 month diet. They approved it within a week my surgery Oct 5th

Actually u can call yourself. Call the # on back of your card.

I forgot to add that some insurance companies don't count your copays against your OOP Max so call your insurace to be sure because each company as well as policy can be different.

According to my insurance BCBS AL once u meet the deductible and OOP Max everything is covered @ 100%

I'm having all kind of emotions guys!! I have so much other stuff going on right now. I have my endoscopy Tuesday. It will be here before we know it. I'm praying for everyone!!!

I have BCBS Alabama as well and was approved within a week after they got all the info.

Figure out a way to get up enough money to go to Mexico. Get a second job if u can tolerate it. On another forum a lady had some financial problems and someone from the forum gave her a donation to pay for hers! It was such a blessing! I pray that something comes through for u!!

I have Asthma but have been put under about 4 times with different surgeries and didn't have any problems.

Well I think you should purchase a blood pressure monitor or go by a drugstore to keep it checked regularly.

Oh good luck! I hope they will accept that as the 6 month requirement! I just got approved Thursday with BCBS AL! I started the 6 month diet in from Feb-July and met the other requirements and was approved thank God! I will be praying that you get a positive outcome as well!

I would check with my insurance to see if they even cover wls, because just because u have a consult with a surgeon doesn't mean you'll get approved. Most surgeons have a program fee of $200 and up! So definitely check with your insurance to see if you have coverage first.
