5'3'' pre surgery I was 298 and squeezing into a 28 if there was some elastic in the waist. I'm now 245 and need a belt with a size 22 but not quite to a 20. Now on top, I'm comfortably in an 18.

Thank you Aqusis' date=' you just made a lot of lap banders that miss their sodas happy <img src='http://www.bariatricpal.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />.How much flavoring do you add to how much Water?[/quote']
The instructions say 2 tsp per 8 Oz Water but I find, especially with the root beer, that it tastes better with 1tsp in 12 Oz .

Ask your doc if you can let one go flat to get rid of the carbonation before drinking it? The carbonation is the issue with the drink and unfortunately they don't have a Water flavoring that tastes like soda' date=' but that would be a good. Maybe someone should write crystal light? They have alcohol flavorings, so why not soda?[/quote']Actually there is flavoring that tastes like soda. I buy the bottles of flavoring made for the soda stream and mix with plain cold Water. Sure it's flat but the diet root beer is very good as is the diet cola and diet ginger ale. Even the non diet ones only have 35 calories per serving and I find you can cut the about in half and still get a tasty beverage that breaks the monotony of plain water!

I had one in my port incision about 3 weeks after surgery. Antibiotics (keflex) took care of it. Surgeon said it was superficial in the indecision and did not actually get to the port itself. I'm now 2 months later and that end of the incision is a more raised darker scar but the infection is gone, dr said if it was went deeper we would have had to remove to port.

I'm 2 months out with no fill yet. I've lost 51 lbs. dr declines fill last month and said we'd do it this month if I lost less than 5 lbs but I'm down 10 since last apt and still 2 weeks to go until this months apt so likely no fill this time either. My surgeon put zero in at surgery so I'm completely empty.

No, my surgeon says no Protein Shakes at the 4 week post op point when he allows normal food. I get all my Protein from solid food.

I'm right there with you! I was banded Nov 9, and I'm down 48. My surgeon even skipped my first scheduled fill last week. I know eventually the loss wit ll slow down and ill need a fill but I'm enjoying this while it lasts! Congrats on your loss!

Have a small slice if the pie but just eat the filling, skip the crust, that's where most of the fat and calories are!

The slim fast low carb had only 2 grams sugar, 4 carbs, 21 grams Protein for 200 calories. I used them when I was on the go for the convenience of being premixed

You can adjust but have to do it from computer, cannot do it via phone ap. I think the instructions are under the FAQs that are on the phone ap.

You can email the list to yourself. In the header of her original post there is a little arrow point down. Click the arrow, then click 'share' and then enter your email address and hit send.
