Congrats! I had mine done at Fremont Kaiser!!

Im Dec 13th. Im excited, nervous and getting anxious. I want to hurry and wake up from surgery. I want to know if im gonna be okay. I cant wait to start my new life. Cant wait to feel good again. I just came home, walked upstairs to my bedroom to change and was out of breathe. I could feel my heart racing. Im glad I'm doing this. Im 40yrs old and want to feel the best I can for the 2nd half of my life. So bring it on!

I was there a month ago having headaches non stop but. It's goes away after losing 25 pds in a month. Getting compliments this is the best decision ever! I moved from a sz 20 to a 14-16 in a month! And am sure happy!

I picked my date 12-12-12 - thought it would be a cool date to mark this change in my life.

This is my before (282) and picture(175) still have about 20 pounds to go! I am almost 15 months postop.. So far total lost 109 pounds!

I'm just starting the process too. I am going to the class on July 13 in Fremont Kaiser.
I'd love to meet people around the area who have had the surgery or are looking to get it!

Just say read other posts, I do read them, however sometimes it's easier just to ask my own question and btw if ur just going to put read the posts then feel free not to post on my post.

So I had my 18 month post-op checkup this week (it's a smidge late due to scheduling conflicts, and now I"m actually closer to 19 months post-op, but hey better late than never) and was very happy with everything. From my stellar labs, to being -100lbs lighter, there is nothing bad I can say about the sleeve. It has given me hope in the never-ending weight battle. Never before would I have stayed the course through so many stalls (and for me personally there have been plenty!) I'm starting to see my body change even though the pounds are NOT melting away the way they did when I was a few months post-op.
Just thought I would share some photos since that was my biggest inspiration when I was researching the sleeve. The photos just don't lie, they tell the story.

Well here I am 21 months post op. I am so thankful to God for my sleevie, words can not express.

Highest weight 234, lowest 144...I am 148 today and that's with tom lol. I am a perfect size 6 (actually even have some 4's)...if I can do it, YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!!!!!

I am scheduled for my orientation at Kaiser Fremont on May 6th. Anyone else going too? Does anyone know what happens at the orientation? When do I find out how much weight I have to lose? Any and all info is much appreciated.
