Immediately post op in the Recovery Room my pain was a 10/10 but it was in my back. I also felt I couldnt breathe. So they gave me a heat pad for my back and some more meds to sedate me better.
By the time I got to my room, my pain was a 5, but that slowly went down to a 3 and i stayed there throughout the night.
Yesterday was my 2ns day and the day I went home. I could tell a difference being off the PCA pump, but its more achey than pain.
I walked around the park yesterday and today. It helps. I was also able to shwer today so I feel better. My plan is to just take it easy, cough and deep breathe, walk and relax. My goal is to avoid pain meds today. We'll see.

It could also be gas. You could jus carry it in your back. I had it and it was far more worse than my abdomen.
