I haven't been posting lately because honestly.. im not sure what else to say.. I have had one hell of a journey these past 6 months.. and I feel terrific.. I just want to let anyone out there that worried know.. if you work your sleeve it will work for you!!!!! I couldn't be happier.. Im not even sure that I want to hit goal because im really happy with where i am at right now.. i always said that around 160 would be good for me because i have a lot more muscle than most so at a heavier weight I think I look ok.. So instead of waiting to hit goal I am officially posting my before and after pic. Clearance for what from Doctor or what core work?. I went to Mexico and i don't have a doctor back here in states. I guess i can go to my VA doctor which i have an appointment on the 12th of July.Usually it is six weeks before you get clearance to do anything other than walking. You should still be able to contact your DR in Mexico....my friend did.

I want to work out but just don't have the energy! Is it to early for me? Surgery may 28thNo...I had surgery 5/25 and I started within the week....unfortunately we are limited to what we can do....I walk an hour every day

I saw something that said take Vitamins on week three. Maybe I read it wrong but I ordered some and they will not be here till then.It is B12 in a nasal spray....it is stronger dosage than the pills/capsules. I have Vitamin B12 deficiency so I don't absorb well orally...but it is great for VSG patients.

Did they come out alright in the muffin/cupcake pan? I was thinking of doing it the same way but wasnt sure if I would need to put cupcake liners in.
Absolutely perfect, no lining needed....I sprayed a little bit of Pam on it

Yes, me and I LOVE IT! before I was always super hot...I hated it, plus I'm saving money on my electric bill...before the AC was on all of the time

My first SIP wasn't painful just nasty! It was that ink for the upper GI test.
I had the drain while in hospital, they removed it before discharge.
Went back to work a week later, two week anniversary today and feeling great!
Follow the plan and WALK...it gets better

Super Excited I had my first "meal" this morning (small curd FF cottage cheese with SF strawberry preserve) I chewed and chewed, took 20 mins to eat it and it went down without a glitch. My Sleeve approves and so does my taste buds
For tonight, having my yummy revised Eggface Ricotta Bake (with FF ricotta seasoned with oregano/salt/pepper/onion&garlic powder and cayenne pepper/parmesan cheese) topped with marinara & mozz... Loving my new way of eating !

I once had a lady in a grocery store tell me that you pick a sweet watermelon by looking for ones with lots of "scars" (the stretchmark things they get on the rind sometimes) because those "scars" are where the bees stick their stingers in and suck out the juice' date=' and they know if it's a sweet one or not, so only the scarred ones will be any good.I also had one of my staff members tell me she had to leave early because she forgot to take down her hummingbird feeder, so she was afraid it would stick around the feeder instead of finding the geese so that it could latch on to their "armpit feathers" with their beaks and get a ride south for the winter.
I had a man at a park with a large pond one tell me that some scars on a carp were extra gills - that carp are the only fish that can spontaneously generate additional gills when they start to run out of air.
Someone not knowing (or being able to type, or not caring, or whatever the case may be) the difference between lose and loose ranks pretty far down on the "duh" moments I have experienced.
(I have 5 degrees, but none of them happen to be in Typing, so you're welcomed to count my errors on any given post. I can guarantee at least one "teh").[/quote']
LOL! Five Degrees? Jesus Christ when did you find time to do all of that?! God bless you

I have or should I said had Type 2 Diabetes, my sugar was really high while in the hospital receiver shots but was told it was normal because I was in pain. I will be two weeks tomorrow, completely off my medicine and normal sugar levels! I mean ridiculously normal levels...this works!

Share some Lol....this,was my first dish...best of luck with surgery

Just made my version of Eggface's Ricotta Bake. I used fat Free ricotta instead of the full fat and seasoned it before adding the egg with oregano, salt, pepper, onion/garlic powder and cayenne pepper....one word, YUM

Hang in there, it gets better! I was sleeved on May 25 th and exactly a week after surgery I returned to work. I was off pain meds three days after getting home. Other than some soreness and the heartburn I feel completely normal...actually better than I did before.
-
Hi Izzy' date='I have not been sleeved yet, but if you do not mind, I will follow your progress. My starting weight is within a few pounds of yours, and I also have PCOS and Type 2. I will be sleeved in July.[/quote']
Best of luck to you! Absolutely no problem....I can tell you in completely off my Metformin, I'm snoring a lot less at night and its only been 2 weeks
Please keep me posted and if you have any questions I will be more than happy to help if I can
