My schedule is the same as Vidalia's.

You look great!

Try chewing a couple of Lactaids before you enjoy your favorite Protein Shakes, this may help with the runs.

@PHjason
I agree some of the rtd Isopure are gross. As mentioned earlier, try the Isopure unflavored powder and mix it to your flavored water. Muscle milk light is delicious, right now I am on cake batter, can't wait to try more flavors. I've read good reports on nectar banana creme, but I am going to order the sample pack to try first. What is your docs advice on eating?

I jumped on the scale while I was waiting for the Doc to come in to see me. The scale was digital and on a carpet floor, it read 58 lbs. This made me lol. I'm obsessed, I think I will try to stay off the scale until Saturday.

Nov 5th. I was thinking the same thing when stepped on the scale today, stall already? I can't wait to be cleared to exercise.

After my surgery, my doc had me on Clear Liquids first, I don't start full liquids until this drain comes out, but every Doc is different. I tried a Protein Shake yesterday, just for the heck of it, and was surprised how easily it went down. I do have to remember to sip and not gulp. I am sure you will be fine if you remember to sip.

When I was on my pre op diet I went through the same thing, you need to keep your hands and mind busy, that way you are not giving in to head hunger. I began to crochet, made 3 scarfs while pre op. Now that I am post op I am not hungry ever but I get that damn head hunger, I searched you tube and am now knitting a scarf and later a hat. For me the trick is to busy the mind, it eases boredom and keeps me from wanting to snack. I hope this helps.

Well, I am sleeved! Everything started at 10:20am, and I've been in my room since 3:30. I have a little pain in stomach but not much. I think I need to walk a little bit more.

Nov 5, just a couple more days. The only one in my family that knows is my daughter, so if it gets around, I'll know who never to trust.

Happy for you. Take care of yourself.

I am on day 11, and doing great. Do I still crave certain bad foods, sure, but for the most part my opti keeps me satisfied. Blueberry tea with nuvia is like a dessert for me.

Remember, you are doing this for you. I am going through the same thing with one of my sisters, she keeps telling me all you have to do is this and this. I just stop talking to her about it, after telling her no matter what she says, I'm going to do it anyway. It is our choice my body, and I want it a lot lighter than it is now.

You can do this, you know why, because you don't have any choice.You ate something you should not have-and your body reacted, you won't make that mistake again.Sometimes you have tho look else where for support when it is not forth coming at home, been there, done that. Just hang in there, remember you did this for you, don't let anything/anyone discourage you from your goal.

I hate that you are worried what others might think. You do not have to share anything,with anybody. Say you had enough to eat, that should suffice. You are a grown woman capable of making decisions for yourself, and, you need no one to approve of what you choose to do to your body.

I am sure you will be fine. You did not enter into this decision lightly, you are about to change your life for the better. The only advice I can give you is to follow the dietary rules until you are cleared to move on. You may have days where you want to cheat, but your new stomach won't let you, it will revolt. Stay true to the you that you want to be and you will be fine. I wish you luck and happiness on your journey. Stay strong.
