  1. Thanks! I guess my head is so excited I'd misplaced how my yummy might react to something new lol Sent from my iPhone using VST
  2. I have 1/2 week left of soft foods then on to "normal" foods. I was wondering what you all ate on your first day of regular eating. Sent from my iPhone using VST
  3. Abrash... I don't know that they've changed monthly but they have since the surgery. I used to love Fiji Water and now I hate it and don't like water plain either. I also like the premier Protein shakes from costco a lot more now than I did before surgery. unjury tasted great before and now not so much. Oh! And I now cannot stand propel zero or g2! I can only handle Powerade zero. Vitamin water zero is hideous to me! And I have no desire to eat sugar at all. So my own tastes have changed. Yours might too. I have a bunch of propel zero I am feeding to my kids now because I tried to stock up lol Sent from my iPhone using VST
  4. I'm sure I am just repeating others but be careful with overbuying on the Protein drinks. Your tastes may change after surgery and you sure don't want to be stuck with a bunch of stuff you can't stand. IMHO, isopuke aka isopure is just awful. For my clear liquids I preferred Syntrax nectar powders, tons of flavors. Now my shakes are 99% Premier Protein from costco. sugar free Popsicles rock!!!! Sent from my iPhone using VST
  5. I am 4 weeks out today! Sleeved March 6th. As of this morning I am down 27 lbs since surgery!! Yay!!! I, too, stalled for about a week and a half. Here I am losing again just a little slower. I'll take it! Everyone in a stall.... Hang in there!!!! Sent from my iPhone using VST

  7. Just the outside was glazed and I didn't eat it, only the unglazed insides. Just wish I knew if it was the ham or the Protein shot or both.... Sent from my iPhone using VST
  8. I really thought I made a decent choice In my Proteins yesterday. I am 3.5 weeks out and eating soft foods. Everything was great until now, 3:30am the morning after. We had a ham yesterday and it was so soft and so good! I had about 2.5 ozs at lunch and another 1 oz at dinner. I also had one of those whey Protein shots 42g protein shots in a huge glass of Powerade zero. Here I sit with horrible gas running through my intestines, diarrhea and even some reflux even when I am on acid reducers. Not happy... Sent from my iPhone using VST
  9. I was sleeved March 6th! I am down 26 lbs since then. I just broke through a week and a half stall. I am on soft foods, so cottage cheese, baby bel, yogurt, canned/ground chicken or turkey... I still have to really push to get all of my liquids and Protein in. Sent from my iPhone using VST
  10. Great job! You're looking terrific!! Sent from my iPhone using VST
  11. For lunch today I made one scrambled egg with 1/4 c 2% milk and a peeled apart string cheese. I couldn't finish it. I ate about 3/4 of it though. I say as long as you're not clearing out a dozen at the end of the day, your body is going to tell you what it's ok with and not to worry! Sent from my iPhone using VST
  12. I am/was there too! I am 3 weeks and 1 day post op and have been in a stall for nearly 2 weeks! Today I am down 2 more lbs!! I was scared too but just hang in there and you will see it too!!!! Sent from my iPhone using VST
  13. Looks like you are eating soft foods, not puréed like I was. I think perhaps that's why my food went down so easily. I just found out however, that I don't have to puree my foods now- I, too am on soft! Yay!!!!!!! I am so happy to get "real" food!!!!!! Sent from my iPhone using VST
  14. I am 3 weeks out today. I tried to eat a little more today to see if it might break my stall. lunch was about 3 oz of puréed canned chicken and 1.5 tbsp of light mayo. I felt just fine. I can also eat an entire egg puréed with light mayo. Does that seem like a lot in one sitting? It does take me about 30-45 minutes to eat. Sent from my iPhone using VST
  15. Well it was at the time, but even then they tell you that you still might need to do it again in like 3-5 years. Then there are people like me who still need a hysterectomy any way... Sent from my iPhone using VST
  16. Sorry if its tmi, but I thought I'd ask some advice on my problem. Last summer I had nova sure done and it stopped my intense, heavy and never ending period(s). Last month I began bleeding after sex. I went to the gyn who checked me out, took swabs and sent me for an ultrasound. Gyn came back and told me I have adenomyosis and that my uterine lining is growing back rapidly, it grows through the muscle. So she suggested a hysterectomy. I have birthed 7 kids and no longer need it so no problem there. BUT after going through nearly 3 weeks of pain with my sleeve surgery, I am scared to death to have another abdominal surgery just to be in pain for another 2-3 weeks. has anyone else been through anything similar? 19. Nope no calorie counting here. I track my Protein and fluids, that's all. I really doubt you will be eating enough for calories to be a concern. I'm certainly not. Maybe 1/3 can of tuna puréed or an egg with tbsp of light mayo. That's kind of it. Sent from my iPhone using VST
  20. Does anyone else feel this way? It seems surreal to me to think I could actually keep losing weight (lost 22 lbs since surgery and now stalled). I called my surgeons office this morning and was told not to worry, that I will definitely continue losing. It's been a good 10 years (and many kids) ago that I was anywhere near average sized. So, anyway I just wondered if I was alone with my obsessive little thoughts. Sent from my iPhone using VST
  21. Yes!! It does get better, promise!! I felt the same way! I am not just shy of 3 weeks post op and feeling pretty good this past week! Hang in there!! Sent from my iPhone using VST
  22. Thank you! I hadn't noticed the fat or sodium content before! Sent from my iPhone using VST

  24. So I mash up my ff cottage cheese well and then chew well too. It feels like it sits in my esophagus? Is that normal? Sent from my iPhone using VST
  25. Anyone else have this machine? You just insert a frozen banana and it comes out like soft serve. Would this be considered a purée? Sent from my iPhone using VST
