  1. Not trying to start any crap, but did y'all look under the vsg complications forum about peoples experience with Almanza? I just finished reading the posts. It gets ugly
  2. Hey mama we're the same date
  3. Yeah.... I had mine taken out in 08 and I'm still the same way. I'm like the poster child for dumping syndrome. I was told it would slow down a lot as long as I stuck with protein first.... I hope it's true
  4. Mine is July 23 and I have a10 day pre op. If yours like a copy u can message me at april_gilley@yahoo.com
  5. July 23rd.... It can't come soon enough
  6. Just jump in any time. There IS a sticky note pinned on what to pack in the pre op forum though. It's pretty informational:-)
  7. Alsop there is a sticky note on what to bring
  8. Omg....especially the part about being smothered by your boobs. I swear it is like that for me in every single way but the boob smothering is my #1. I dread lying down for bed every single night BC of that
  9. I'll have 2 nights in hospital and 2 in hotel. But I may be bringing 2 people and I'm stay extra days.
  10. I think the price is different depending on which hospital you choose. I'm going to have mine at the MAR Surgery center in Tijuana. When u start blogging let me have the link and I'll be able to follow along.
  11. my vlog will be ready at http://youtu.be/T8ttjL3J8pA if anyone wants an update

  15. You are absolutely right! I do wish the best of luck to all. And yours is just around the corner. I'm super excited to read your updates
  16. Are u talking to me or Finding Myself BC she said Covidien is what is preferred? I say w agree to disagree or do u seriously want to piss the moderator of again? She said to let it drop. Covidien costs about 1500 just for the staples. They are preferred. period
  17. Nah, don't feel dumb. Then I will BC it took me a while to realize there even are stickies! Lol
  18. No problem at all. I sorta keep a running list lol
  19. In pre op forum there it's a "sticky" that has a really great list and people have added on to it. That would be a great place to start
  20. For the record, since your ex is a doctor,u should know that all staples aren't created equally in the operating room. My surgeon uses the covidien tri-staple, as do both Drs Aceves and Alvarez
  21. Wow, someone missed a dose of their meds...
  22. I'm probably wrong but I thought that was how one of the leak tests were done too. U drink the blue dye stuff and if it comes out in the drain there is a leak. One is done while Ur under, one is with the dye and one is with the barium/x ray. I'm cool with having one, especially if it's for that reason
  23. Wow guys, good luck. We know u will all do great! Be sure and keep us updated when u can
  24. Well I know what I asked and I know what Louise said. What you doubt is of no consequence to me other than you may as well be calling me a liar. Six of one, half a dozen of another. I'm doing a video log on YouTube so I guess I'll be showing whether or not the firm I've chosen to go through is up to par. My sister had a fantastic experience in Mexico and I'm expecting no less. Good luck on your continued weight loss
