What To Take?

Hi All,

I've searched but haven't found anything related to my question. I feel at a loss with regard to what to take to Mexico. I am planning on taking Gas-X strips, but is there anything else? Do I need clothes while in the hospital? (Ok, probably not.)

I'm just looking for ideas or tips on what I might need that I haven't considered. Thanks.

In pre op forum there it's a "sticky" that has a really great list and people have added on to it. That would be a great place to start

Oh wow! It's right at the top. I feel dumb. LOL!

Nah, don't feel dumb. Then I will BC it took me a while to realize there even are stickies! Lol

CONGRATS on your upcoming date in Mexico. My thoughts will be with you> :)

Congrats. The things that helped me the most were chapstick, Charmaine or Cottonell Wipes, Decaff Peppermint Tea, hair brush, Truvia, Biotene and a comfortable soft fuzzy blanket from home. I didn't use my cell, my kindle, shampoo, conditioner, I walked, sipped, slept. I made a decision after I got out of bed after surgery that i would sit in a chair instead of staying in bed, and I only went to bed at night. My big fluffy brown blanket, was a comfort. Cleaning lady came in my room and say oh look at the bear lol :)
