  1. I will have to self pay for my revision, but I know I need the tool to help me maintain weight loss. Good luck and keep us posted!
  2. What was the process for waiting for sleeve? Endoscopy to confirm stomach was healed before sleeve surgery?
  3. Same. 100lbs lost and only my dad knows. I don’t have time to educate people ;)
  4. I’ve heard you need to take it very slow. I guess you have to re-learn and pace yourself. I know easier said than done.
  5. That’s tough! I hope your docs can figure out what’s going on. :(
  6. That’s not too bad. I’m very anxious about weight gain. Glad you’re doing ok!
  7. Why did you revise to sleeve? Were you having issues?
  8. I just had my band removed and want to revise to sleeve. I have to wait until my stomach heals. You’re still healing and getting used to the sleeve so hopefully you’ll feel better soon. Are you in pain or discomfort?
  9. What are the main differences in how you feel with sleeve vs band? I had band removed and was so accustomed to pain from being stuck. I plan to revise to sleeve once my stomach heals but curious about hunger feelings and feeling full.
  10. You feel like you shouldn’t have done the sleeve revision?
  11. I have a lot of swelling in my legs and belly after lap band removal (last week). I assume it’s normal after surgery. I’m trying to drink a lot of fluids to flush my system.
  12. Did you gain weight after removal and before sleeve?
  13. Did you gain after band removal? How is your hunger with the sleeve revision?
  14. Most likely dissolvable, but you can call your doc to be certain.
  15. I had surgery on a Tuesday and went back to work Monday (desk job).
  16. I'm running the Austin Ragnar in April!
  17. I have a desk job. I had surgery on a Tuesday and was back at work Monday.
  18. Same here. No change in fill during port revision.
  19. Im doing the NYC marathon on Sunday! Eek. Anyone else?
  20. Same here. Had port revision on 9/30. New port is in basically the same place and definitely doesn't stick out as much. I'm still waiting for some swelling to go down to see the final result.
  21. I had my port revision surgery this morning. All went well and I just have some pain in the ab muscle since they buried the new port pretty deep. I think I might actually go back to work tomorrow, and I'm just taking Tylenol instead of the prescription painkillers. I don't want to jinx it, but I'm surprised at how well I'm actually feeling
  22. Yes. I'm getting low profile port and they're going to bury it deep in the muscle. I'm looking forward to it, but I expect some discomfort after surgery. My current port really shows, so I'm excited for the revision
  23. Hey did you have your revision surgery? Mine is booked for 9/30.
