  2. What are you eating? Be aware of slider foods. They won't fill you up but will add calories.
  3. Thanks everyone. Took a walk around my house for about 20 mins and crushed up a xanex. I know he also fixed a hiatial hernia. I wonder if that could be part of it? My drain was taken out at the hospital thank god.
  4. Am miserable. Can't sleep, in pain and the liquid lortab makes me sick. I look at my distended belly with the giant holes in it and really question if I made a mistake. It's too late now.

  9. I totally get where you are coming from, but with Protein shakes it isn't a fast. I used this word too with my NUT and she quickly corrected me. She pointed out that we are getting all the nutrients we need. Your metabolism will not crash if you follow the rules. Day 12 on liquid protien here. Surgery on the 28th.
  10. Sleevertobe we are having surgery on the same day at the exact same time!
  11. Thank you everyone. I am so sick of these two flavors of protein. And liquid liquid liquid
  12. At the end of day 9 of liquid diet. Surgery on the 28th. Someone tell me it gets better after the surgery. This liquid diet is killing me.
  13. I am right there with you. It's weird how the appetite fades
  14. I was self pay too. I ended up with a 20,000 bill. From what I can tell this is the high end. I had some savings and took out a loan. I figured I would by a car for that and I am worth way more as an investment.
  15. Thanks. I am still prep diet. I needed the reassurance. I suppose I am going to be "cleaned out" for the surgery. I am close enough I can check the weather on S day!
  16. Iiquid bowels? Is this normal or am I reacting to whey Protein?
  17. I went through the same thing. The carb withdrawal was a real shock.
  18. Omg this! I am so sure it won't work for me! I asked my surgeon too and got a similar response...but it feels so impossible
  19. It is kinda like a test. It forces you to examine your relationship with food. I am on day six. I am on no solids. It has made me feel more committed to this journey.
  20. I don't know. Solid protein would be nice. I have the "should have been predictable" issue of liquid in, liquid out.
  21. What does everyone think of this for the hospital? http://www.amazon.com/Pretty-Pushers-Disposable-Delivery-Pre-Pregnancy/dp/B005IIRDT0/ref=sr_1_17?s=apparel&ie=UTF8&qid=1340052851&sr=1-17&keywords=Nightgown

  23. 10 more days. I am on day 5 of my liquid diet prep and it is true what they say. Your hunger fades...
  24. Yes. Protein shakes, broth, sugar free jello. And lots of water. 11 more days on it. I have learned the meaning of head hunger. And I think I am suffering withdrawal symptoms from carbs
