  1. Good morning every one! Just wanted to share 6 weeks post-op today! The day before surgery 233.5, The day of the challenge i was 205, so after i guess two weeks of fighting back and forth i think i have finally made it...... to onederland!!! When i weighed this morning i was 197.5! My goal for the 4th was 190, we working on it, if i don't make it, i will be close! 36 lb total loss forever and ever! amen lol
  2. Thank you, my sleeve was May 10th as well! So maybe a little food before the gym? Ive been walking, my doc told me up it some! I feel like a kid relearning everything all over again!
  3. I will be six weeks post op. I was told to up my exercise, so yesterday morning i was at the gym at 5am. I used to love going to the gym in the mornings. So after nice cardio workout i was hungry all day, so it felt like. I went home and had an unjury shake, but felt hungry really all day? Today i didnt do the gym in the am, i havent been hungry. Any ideas?
  4. Personally, I order from the website. I love the taste, I put the unflavored on my lower protein foods. Recently ordered the chocolate, tastes just like chocolate milk with no gritty after taste. To me just not having that after taste is worth it!
  5. Ive used my camel bak since day 1! My NUT told me about it!
  6. Ok, so i lost my boyfriend May 2011 to cancer, ( i have my own guardian angel). Yes it made me a stronger person in some ways. During the 8 months of his sickness i became very obese instead of just obese. We talked of me having the surgery when he was better. Well he is all better, on a cloud watching over me. I will be 5 weeks post op tomorrow the 14th. I really would like to start going out and about more often, not have a "boyfriend" so to speak, but maybe date, go out with friends. So the typical date is dinner or drinks with friends. Not everyone, hardly anyone knows of my surgery. How do you handle this when you can't drink and only eat a few bites. I don't wanna come across as shy and not wanting to eat, i am nervous and shy enough. Am i over thinking this?
  7. Good for you! You and that sweet little one deserves better!!! I dont have kids but i understand needing the secuirty of being "skinny" to start over!!! Prayers for you!

  10. Hey guys, Unjury is wonderful! If you google body by Vi recipes. Gives you a list of over 50 shakes you can make, just replace their protein powder with the unjury (the best protein, bar none). I am 4 weeks post op today! Loving my decision!

  16. Im 3 weeks out today, i was a self pay at Lake Norman! I absolutely love them! Everyone is so supportive. I did go there for a consult last year, i could not afford it. Well since they have a self pay plan! I actually paid a little less than what was quoted! Several of his staff have had the sleeve, i can email them anytime, and receive a response with in hours. Everyone has an individual email, so if you need to talk to the nut or the assistant! I would give them 5 stars no questions asked!

  20. keep your chin up. you didnt do this on purpose! I'm sure he understands this. Sit back, enjoy it will all be over to soon! LOL good luck
  21. My pre-op psych visit i was told to live normal, eat like you will in the future. She had the band, she said if we stay so strick "dieting" our sleeve will get immune just like our tummy did before to all the "dieting", so when the doc says normal food, to do normal foods including carbs, just practice portion control. we have a new start we all have our baby belly back, we will shape it this time not our parents!
  22. I'm sure your husband was happy!
  23. I stayed alone but I have no kids! I drove the next day. I had a very smooth surgery and recovery so far! I'm 17 days post op!
