I get the same thing! And when I have to poop, I have to poop NOW! All diarrhea. Sorry to be gross. Lots of pain and gurgling. And I'm nauseous all the time. The dr thought I might have gastroparesis, so they put me on Reglan. I had a reaction to it so now I'm back to phenergan. Anyhow, I missed two days of my Nexium and the issues went away. I have my 6 month post op on Friday , so if I find out anything interesting I'll let you know. (and we are an air force family, so I feel your pain about going to the dr. IF you can get an appt!)

They taste awful! Try crystal light and rum. It's pretty tasty.

Yup. I've now gained ten pounds since Friday.

Oops. Yes, I did get my gall bladder removed. ; )

I was sleeved on 4/16/12 and have lost 79 lbs. I've been stalled for about two weeks now, then yesterday I get my gall bladder and today I've gained 6 lbs. WTF?

My gall bladder has been giving me grief since the surgery, my dr thinks its because I lost weight too fast. I don't have stones, though, I have sludge. Mine comes out sept 7. Huzzah!

I'm almost four months out and my NUT has encouraged me to eat quinoa. It's very tasty and is a super food.< /p>

Does anyone take B1? My buddy had a full gastric bypass and is required to take B1. Since my dr didn't bother to tell me to take B12, so I want to make sure that I don't need that as well. Thanks!

My oh crap moment was last summer at six flags. My hubby and I went to ride a roller coaster and I didn't fit. The poor attendant looked like she was going to cry when she asked me to get off. I held my head high and walked off the ride. As I'm walking down the ramp I thought "my son is two, he won't remember this, THIS TIME. I don't want to be that mom that lives in fear of her weight and size. ". Next week I went to the base hospital and got myself in the program. That was last June. I went back this June and made that ride my b***h.

I get about 800 calories a day. My dr told me to eat only three times a day but my NUT said to eat every two to three hours and don't bother counting calories ( I'm losing weight too fast and it's causing my gall bladder to be a ****** bag) . I don't count carbs but I also don't eat bread or rice often. My NUT had encouraged me to eat quinoa often since its a super food. Good luck to you.

Hopefully you're camping somewhere with nice bathrooms! My first days after my surgery were filled with nausea, vomiting and "poo issues". I hope your days go better than that, but it's something to be aware of. Good luck and enjoy!

I'm down 66 lbs since my surgery in April and oh man, I love getting it on! Before my surgery I was always tired and found excuses to not make nookie because things "jiggling" around Now? My hubby walks in the door, in his cute little Air Force uniform and I'm all over him like a dog on a 3 legged cat. Me-ow!

Love it! The first time somebody puts in their two cents whether it's advice or opinion, they get picked on for once being fat. Jesus, lemme dig out my prom dress and perm my hair, I think I'm back in high school. And butterbean? You amuse the poop out of me.

Your dr may be willing to prescribe you a mild sleeping pill, like mine did. It did wonders for me, relaxed me enough to get through the test, even with finals the next day.

Thanks! I needed that!

Hello! How many calories do you take in a day? When you're in a weight loss slump do add more calories or less? My NUT confuses me. I've been stuck at the same weight for about two weeks now. I'm three months post op, down 65 lbs and I'm "supposed" to get 800 calories a day. Thanks for your input.

Why the drama ?

Hello! I was sleeved at Travis AFB on 4/16/12. It took me eight months to get through the process. (sleep study, NUT, psych , echocardiogram , EKG, endoscopy, colonscopy , blood work, blah blah blah). My dr does all three types of surgery, I chose lap band but he suggested the sleeve instead. I never had any issues with tricare. I was 100 lbs overweight and my bmi was 40 no pre existing conditions. I'm sorry tricare is being jerks, I hope my story can help you push your case. Good luck!

I used the appletini with my stuff for my colonscopy. I call booze and crystal light a "skinny b***h"

Has anybody tried the skinny girl cocktails?

There's not much else to say, I think. I'm six months out and I'm down almost 100 lbs. they took my gallbladder out and that's about when I started having issues, I had it out around sept 7th or so. I forgot to mention the days I missed the nexium I had started taking Probiotics, so that may have helped. If you think of any questions for me, feel free to ask.
