I am not sure i am 6 days post op and my pill got stuck today. She said to do this and sip very slowly. And use as a last resort.!

The day after I got out of the hospital was tge worst day of my life (pain wise). I was ready to go back and make them undo it! I cried myself to sleep! I'll be a week post-op tomorrow and i feel much better. Emotionally and physically.

The nurse at my doctors office said (in regards to meds getting stuck) to drink regular coke.. even though it's not allowed it will dissolve medicine.

I would vote no. To much to soon on your stomach. Also if complications should arise, you should be close to your surgeon. Plus the lap band hell will be in full swing, not fun for a trip.

I qas only instructed to be on clear liquids for 4 days. Although this was on the handout I was given. Unfortunately, I am not fond of my doctor. He hasn't really given me any what to expect or instructions. I feel like i am ny myself in this.

I was banded Tuesday morning. I just ate some tomato bisque soup (not much and pureed). Now I feel so tight. I don't think i ate it to quickly either. Anyone else eat tomato soup on day 4-5?

I'm not trying to be negative-- I'm simply saying some feelings I didn't know I would have. I don't want to be put in that "position" again. I'm glad I did this for myself.

I had a moment of emotion yesterday. Kind of regret or do i want to do/feel like this forever. Gas pain is a bit better today. I'm gonna try some yogurt, I'm hoping i can tolerate it. I really need to drink more.. I'm barely getting a bottle of water in a day.

I'm new here. I had my surgery on Tuesday. I am having some horrible chest pains though pretty much the only thing that has hurt consistently.
