  3. Keep up the good work. I recently joined the YMCA and look forward to getting busy myself. I had a very hectic schedule at work this week. I do plan on doing some form of exercise tonight, maybe a video. Maybe I'll be able to brag really soon

I also slept in the the recliner for two weeks and then transitioned to the bed. I attempted to sleep in the bed when I can home and couldn't do it. It will get better
  6. Thank you, this was some very valuable information !
  7. I think most of us understand exactly what you're going through, we all fall down but we get back up

Hi guys I took your advise...went to the doctor and told him that I've had problems for approximately two months keeping food down. The first thing he did was have me have an X-Ray which showed that my band was still intact...so then he said it is probably to tight so he released some of the fluid. I can't tell you how good it feels to be able to eat normally and not get sick, I've been able to get my protein in today and I really feel great. Thanks again for the advice!!!!!!
  9. Hi guys I have been having a really difficult time keeping most foods down. I usually have my protein shake for breakfast and lunch and maybe a 1/2 cup of greek yogurt. I have been making a vegetable soup with chicken stock and I can keep it down some days. I'm afraid that something may be wrong with the band but I have't gone to the Doctor for fear that I may not continue to lose weight. I'm down 60 lbs since 4/24/2012. I'm getting so tired of not being able to eat food, and I mean healthy foods, fish, salad etc. I know this isn't normal but has anyone else experience this?

  11. My Doctor leaves the needle in and then tells me to drink normally as if I were at home...he then ask how did it go down....then he will take some of the water out and ask how did it go down...he will then but some in and asked how was it this time. That way he can tell if I can actually tell the difference with the amount that he needs to put in for the fill....and he can place an accurate amount in.
  12. I was told 3 small meals and 1 snack
  13. Life Does continue to happen, and we all have to learn like you how to deal with it in a healthier manner and not with food as we may have in the past. Congrats and much success on your new journey:)
  14. I didn't have much of an appetite for a couple of days post op, but that slowly changed But right now your body is healing and remember to remain hydrated as they all have said earlier. Wishing you much success on your banded journey.
  15. I definitely need to slow down and take smaller bites. I have had a stuck episode each day for the last five days. I think that I am taking small bites and I chew but still I have an episode. I just saw the example from Mis 73 and no, my bites have not been that small so I think maybe that is the problem.
  16. I've had two fills and my doctor has never used fluoro...so far so good, never a problem.
  17. I wish you much success on your new weight loss journey, God Bless!!!
  18. I wish you the best in whatever your decision is. Ultimately the decision is yours and it is about what makes you feel happy and whole. I pray that he will become more understanding about your needs and support you in this weight loss effort.
