First Fill

I had my first fill on wednesday of 3cc's. After 24 hrs of liquids, I could still only keep liquids down. I tried mushy foods, and everything came back up. Today I was tired of chicken w/ stars and ate some home made chicken soup that was less finely chopped and I've had a sharp pain in my stomach right at the top of my stomach ever since. It didn't hurt going down, get stuck, or come back up, but I'm miserable. Is this normal? Do I need to go back and have some saline taken out? Help :( this is discouraging.

You should contact your doctor, your band may be to tight. Something similar happened to me and I had to go and have some saline removed, it solved the problem immediately. I pray that you will feel better soon :)

Thanks. I have an appointment first thing in the morning.

Glad to hear... Your dr should be able to offer you some relief.
