Yesterday and today i have had s headache. I'm 6 days post op today. Today it is pretty bad, and its all on my right side so i know that's classic sign of a migraine. I have been reading mixed reviews online about weather to go in or not for a bad headache/ migraine after surgery. Have any of you sleevers experienced this? Should i be overly concerned and go to the er or leave it be?

I was sleeved on Monday and occasionally feel tight in the chest and have a hard time breathing. I have asthma however and a puff of my inhailor worked wonders. Don't worry, and if it gets to bad give the doctor a call and they will know what to do.

I've always been a stomach sleeper.. and i was sleeved on Monday. This week has been awful. I'm sleeping in a recliner still to. I slept on my back on the bed for an hour but kept trying to turn on my side in my sleep so it was back to the chair. I would also love to know about this. And how long until you slept on your tummy.

I feel like every time i turn in ripping my insides in between my insisions. It feels horrible and so painful.

I'm about six days out and still hurting. Especially when i turn a certain way. I'm about to have a break down to. I just want to cry.

Thanks everyone. I am just such a worrier. This was my first surgery that i can remember, and this week has been suchhhh a challange. Im going to keep walking, and try not to imagine the worst.

Im not exactly sure why but i think im freakibg out because when i go to bed i sleep for roughly nine hours and i feel like that is such a big gap of time to not be walking. I'm walking a pretty good amount each day but I'm really scared of getting a blood clot or something. (I have major anxiety issues and always fear the worst will happen). Idk. So silly me is pacing around worrying and thought i would post on here while I'm doing that lol.

Im about five days post op, and today i took my prilosec first time since surgery. It helped for about six or seven hours then when i went to eat my jello it hurt as if i either took in air or i was having acid reflux. My doctor says i can take two prilosecs a day and i was wondering if anyone else had bad acid reflux after surgery, how it has been since then, and what as well as how often do you take for it?

I'm worried about blood clots. I've been walking a lot lot but today i haven't walked as much because i just got home took a shower and that was exhousting. I plan to get back on the ball tomorrow, but do you think one day of only a few walks will cause blood clots?

And i am just so uncomfortable. Not drinking to much caused every sip causes gas pains. Should i still be getting gas pains from sipping? On top of that i started feeling acid reflux an hour ago. Also my insisions hurt so horribly bad, i wasn't expecting so much pain... im feeling pretty defeated today.

I'm sorry your having such issues with nausea. I had some issues, but the stuff for the iv worked well to stop mine. My main issue is pain.

I was sleeved less than twenty four hours ago, I'm still eating ice chips and every time i have a few the second after i swallow i get what feels like gas pain for a moment. Should i be worried? I have a leak test tomorrow but I'm kind of freaked out.

Still at the hospital. Waiting to take my leak test. Things seem to be going okay. Can't wait to be feeling better and getting my new life on track.

Hurts so bad to move or sit up. Ugh. Had surgery at about 730 this morning. My whole right side of my stomach kills. ( hope its better in the morning. Were you guys in lots of pain the day of surgery?

Was terrified. But i did it and made it through. I'm in pain, but walking and hopefully have a fast healing process. today is the first day of my new life. Wish me luck.

Woooo we are losers now. i was absolutely terrified this morning. Glad it's over with. I'm in allot of pain. Hope it eases soon. Keep in touch.

Thank you everyone. The gas pain is horrible, even with me walking a lot. I'm hoping it will go away soon! I have been in tears when it gets to be to much. My right side of my stomach is killing me where some insisions are. Pain meds are a life saver at the moment. I'll have another leak test tomorrow, and i will keep everyone updated. All of you soon to be sleevers, i wish you nothing but the best! I was petrified, scared i wouldnt wake up. But i made it with the support of my amazing familu and an absolitly wonderful surgical team.

Got to be there at six am. I'm terrified. =\

I will be having surgery on Monday, have to be in livonia at six in the morning. Any one else getting ( or have gotten sleeved ) by doctor Zeni?

What kind of things are you guys eating.. well drinking for your clear liquid pre op diet?
