  1. I found mary kay to be the very best after trying them all lol. Also been good for my loose saggy face skin!! I actually started selling it, not to make money but just to get the discount!! If anyone wants to try it, email me.. again, not to make money, I can sign u up to get ur own discount or even sell u product at my cost .. I can't live without it now.

  2. I was reading in another thread that keeping your skin well-moisturized can possibly help lessen (not prevent) sagging skin. I'm all for trying anything to help - especially something that simple. I'm still pre-op but I'd like to get started with hydrating my skin now so it can be in the best shape possible for my post-surgery life.

Does anyone have any lotion/cream recommendations? Anything that you think worked really well for you?

    Thanks!

Anything with collagen. I use st ives skin renewing for my body and st ives timeless for my face. Both are inexpensive and have collagen elastin.

  3. I was losing a lot about 2 months out.. handfuls at a time. I have (had) very thick hair so no one has really noticed but me. Then I started using Fall Fight Shampoo from Garnier... it has Biotin in it and isn't expensive at all... can even get it at Walmart lol. Used to use salon shampoo (Redken) but when I started using Fall Fight I swear I'm losing less. Idk may be my imagination but sure seems to be helping... and hey, can't hurt right?

  4. I was sleeved july 18 I am down 45lbs. I still can't.eat much so i thought i would have lost more weight. Eating is not fun anymore in a way it kind of hurts.

I am having the same issue. I thought I would have lost alot more by now- sleeved July 17. But I'll take my 50!! Still painful to eat... not in my stomach, but in the back of my throat, food just doesn't want to go down. I had it checked thinking I had some kind of obstruction but after a CTScan, sonogram and a sadistic doctor ramming a metal rod up my nose & down my throat (worst pain EVER), they couldn't find anything. Still having trouble drinking too- Water & milk both make me nauseous now- used to LOVE them. About the only thing I'm able to tolerate well, and have become addicted to, is shaved sno-cone style ice. I crave it like nothing I've ever craved before. I can think of worse things to crave!! :)

  5. Never thought of ice. I've never been a big ice person before' date=' but I will try that. Thanks![/quote']

I wasn't either... still can't stand to chew ice, but a big bowl of sno-cone shaved ice w a spoon really hits the spot. U can also find sugarfree snocone flavors if u don't like the ice plain... not as refreshing that way to me but my friend prefers it. She even gets Protein drinks to flavor them with for an xtra boost of Protein.< /p>

  6. Wow thank u all for ur support and encouragement. I love this site and the people in it :-). I have been trying to get the Protein in but its been tough. I ordered some unflavored so I can start mixing it with everything. I also can't seem to keep Water down... so I crush ice like a snocone and eat it constantly... usually an entire ice cube tray a night. I will keep on it, have a better attitude and come here often.... yes, we will succeed together! Thanks again... all of u!!

  7. My surgery was 7/9 & I'm in the hospital right now writing this. I have developed a bacterial infection in my colon & have C diff.. I went to the ER last night cuz I have had difficulty eating & drinking anything. I felt I was dehydrated & was hoping to get some fluids. They did ct scans & said my surgery looks good but may have picked up the infection in Mexico.

I have such a hard time getting food & fluids in! I know exactly how you feel. I Am hoping things improve for you & me..

    Take care.

How are you doing now??? U are in my prayers....
