Went for my first fill today. Had my surgery 4/24 and have lost 20 lbs. Doc says I am doing awesome. No problems with things getting stuck or getting sick. Only got 3cc today. My band was empty until this point. On liquid til lunchtime tomorrow. Very happy with my progress.
Was banded this morning and did great. The doc also fixed a hietal hernia as well...was able to walk around after a couple of hours and did this 3-4 more times while at the hospital. Was able to get a least 3 laps around the floor the last time. I am at home tonight (thank goodness) and doing fairly well. My pain was very minimal during the day today. Didn't have to take any pain meds but this evening has been a lil worse. My stomach feels like I am tightening up all my muscles and holding them. I know its just the gas and soreness from the incisions though. It is tolerable. I did take my pain meds when I got home just so I can try and sleep some tonight. Only on Clear Liquids for today and tomorrow so I am really looking forward to Thursday when I can have some creamy soup...the highlight of my week so far. Will keep everyone updated as my journey begins today. Hope every one else who was banded today did just as well
