  2. I have been the same way for the past 2 days. Not really hungry, but when I do eat I seem to be getting stuck easier. School is starting this week and alot of stress getting the kids all ready for that. Stress and my eating do not mix.....

  4. I seem to get stuck if I eat when my kids are acting like brats, because I forget to chew my food really good before swallowing in between having to get on to them. 6 year old twin girls.
  5. One of the weightloss support groups here does a clothing swap every few months. That way you can bring in the clothes that are now to big and trade and swap them from smaller clothes that others have already outgrown. It is a pretty cool idea. I have not personnally done this, since I am just at the beginning of my weightloss and have clothing in 16, 18 and 20 from the last several years. I am just starting to notice that the 18 will no longer stay up and slide down alot and the 16s are lookin good. At least that is what my husband is saying about my behind in them.....(ya me). I went for my first fill yesterday, and the surgeon wouldn't give it to me yet. I go in on June 11 for my first fill now.
  6. I dont have a fill yet, but still have had 1 really bad stuck episode. Last weekend I had to go to my brother-n-laws birthday, so I drank a protein shake on the way. While everyone else was stuffing there fat faces, I was taking the kids to see the new colt. I had a very small amount of mashed potato's (on mushies) and for desert I had some banana pudding. I didn't feel like I was missing out nor was I hungry. I have to admit. The chicken looked awesome.
  7. Congrats!! I know you are very proud of yourself and you should be. I hope I get to my green spot as quickly as you have.
  8. I use the pure protein powder vanilla in my shakes and other breakfast muchies. I had it to grits to give it some protein and its not that bad, kind of tasty. I really like the pure protein ready to drink shakes. They are great for on the go and for when you need that something sweet. Lots of protein in these.
  9. Please do not say any of the above during your psych eval. They will focus to much on that like it is a bad thing. Mine took something I said about my preteen daughter and almost didn't pass me, because he thought I would be too stressed to deal with the band and my child. But I got my child the help she needed from another professional, and all is well. If I had done what that freak wanted my child would be on meds and not learning how to deal with life on her own. Just be careful of what you say in the pysch eval!! Be happy and joyful it helps.
  10. I worked in a Diet Clinic for a couple of years and we sold the HCG drops/shots/pellets. The doctor I worked for didn't like to put people on them, but had them because several people wanted them. The true hcg can not be purchased in the super market or drug store. I personally tried the hcg shots along with b12 injections. I took a hcg shot everyday and a b12 shot every other day. I lost alot of weight very fast and my hair grew really thick and long fast, but as soon as I stopped taking the hcg, all that extra hair fell out and I gained the weight back fast. I do support the Lipotronic injections, they are awesome. You will lose weight, but not to fast and because it is loaded with B Vitamins you feel really good and energized. Be careful of the hcg!!

  12. You are very lucky to have such a helpful and supportive husband. My husband will go buy what I tell him too, but thats about it.
  13. Make sure that you are getting enough B12 during this time also. Low levels of B12 cause depression.
  14. That is what I need. I have more low belly fat than anything else. My arms are not that big, my legs are tight because I walk alot, but my belly...........it has got to gooooo!
  15. I always leave my sister-n-law wondering where she bought the fun house mirror that makes her think she looks skinny.
  16. All I know is the crazy psychiatrist I got sent too...that man was nuts. I forgot to get my insurance card from the receptionist and when she called me I said to just shred it, that I had already ordered a new one. He did give me a good report.
  17. I have only had negative things from one person my sister-n-law, she is a very large lady but must have a magic mirror, because she thinks she is so little. She has me by about 60 to 80 lbs. We were at a birthday party for my brother-n-law yesterday and everytime she fixed her something large and gross to eat she would look at me and so, "oh, you cant have any of this can you". I just said "If I wanted it, I would eat it, but I have a goal in mind of becoming a healthier, slimmer ME in the very near future." Her boyfriend said to her, "you need to shut up, your fatter than she is." My husband and my mother-n-law nearly fell out of their seats. Gotta love the honesty in men.
  18. My Dr. put 3cc in band at surgery and then I had to go back the next day, because of swelling I was not able to get water or even spit down. I felt like I was hell for several hours until they hit me with the Deladid. I just went for my 1st post-op appointment today and I am down 8lbs in 1 week. I go back in 2 weeks to maybe get a fill. I have decided I only want a little at a time.........I am fill scared.
