  1. You look amazing! I'm so proud of you!
  2. I only took 2 weeks off and acted as if it was a vacation . I was a little tired in the evenings but I went for short walks to wake me up. Pack a small lunch bag and your liquids. Granted I have a sit down job so it was fine for me. I'm 5 1/2 weeks out and I feel great!
  3. Ok August pst ops you are awfully quiet. Let us know how you're doing. I'll start by saying I feel lighter when I walk. I don't breathe heavy anymore. I don't snore loud when I sleep and I'm feeling sexier everyday! People are noticing my weightloss and asking questions. I'm now wearing clothes it of my closet that I haven't been able to wear in over 3 years. How r u doing?
  4. Sorry for your loss!
  5. Don't be so harsh on yourself. Look at it as you will never see 376 again unless its on a bill, on a door or a cash register????you are doing great. Start taking your body measurements and take some pictures to compare from one month to the next. I'm proud of you! You'll be thin and healthy enforce you know it so start saving for that new wardrobe that you're going to need! 3 cheers for you!
  6. I took my pain meds and nausea meds for 2 to 3 days after being home and relied on my heating pad daily for about 1 and 1/2 weeks. Granted I still get a little tired at 5 weeks out but that's probably from lack of rest and over working. I'm so glad I had my revision. I get better every day. I feel lighter and my knees are no longer hurting! Good luck! Keep us posted!
  7. Vicki u can say that again! Yeah to no more port pain!
  8. Welcome Kelly! We are surgery buddies! I'm doing good. I don't eat enough but I'm working on it. My weightloss is good so I'm proud of that. How are you doing?
  9. I went to visit my sister today and when I got into her house she said "I see you with those big ass pants on." We had a good laugh about that. So then when I get home my husband says "I see you in those BAPS (big ass pants)." He then tells me that I can't wear them anymore and he was taking me shopping for new ones this weekend. I told him I could wear them for another 20 pound lost. Needless to say he said absolutely not. We called my sister and she agreed with him. She said they would fall down so she hoped I would have on pretty undies when it did happen. He then proceeded to demonstrate how they were bounced up in my butt. Lol! I guess I'm shopping this weekend!
  10. Don't cry NayNay we are here for you. Just reach out when you need to talk. I'm around. I can give you my phone number if you want it. You're doing great and I'm proud of you. Take a picture of yourself and put it beside a picture of you when you were heavier I bet that will make you smile! I'm here if you need me!
  11. I am dumping. I ate some of the no sugar added ice cream that I've been eating. I've been throwing up. My stomach is cramping so bad it feels like I'm in labor. I'm sweating and almost in tears it's the worst. I will never eat that again. It didn't do me like that the other times but today it's totally different. My stomach is still in knots.
  12. The pain in my stomach is so bad I feel like I'm in labor, am I dumping?
  13. Ladies I would say that if 3 of you had surgery around the same time and have lost around the same amount then you must all be doing something right! Focus on the positive! Enjoy your new tool! Be patient and follow your Doctors orders the weight will come off. Good luck to you all! Keep us posted on your progress. We are here for you! You all are winners and I'm proud of you!
  14. I like it better than the band too! I don't miss the port pain I use to experience all to often. I wish I would've done the bypass first but I was scared!
  15. Looking good! Congrats on the weightloss and the lack of loose skin! Welcome back!
  16. When can we eat pickles? How about lemons? I love them both!
  17. I hope you feel better! Sorry to hear you're in pain! I'm praying for you! Keep us posted!
