  1. Surgery was Aug 26th and lost 23lbs but lost a total of 37 all together. I don't weigh myself often maybe once a week.
  2. I actually can feel my hip bone.i can also feel my knee bones touching when laying on my side. It feels weird!
  3. I hope you feel better! I'm praying for you!
  4. Soccermomma is in onederland! I'm so happy for you!!!!
  5. Are we able to digest pills after surgery? I want to take my muscle relaxer for my back.
  6. I'm so sorry for your loss! I hope you're feeling better today!
  7. I'm curious to know if any others are experiencing smelly BMs? I'm thinking that since I'm still on liquids and not getting in all my protein it shouldn't smell bad but it does???? I hate it!
  8. My glue is peeling too. My Dr told me at my appt that it was okay to start peeling it off.
  9. Hello Naynay what store did u find the Special K drink mix in? I brought it years ago but can't remember where.
  10. I was wondering if you had any changes in your cycle after surgery? Did it get shorter? Was the flow heavier? I'm just curious to know. Men pardon my post but I had to ask.
  11. I've got a friend that recommended it to me but she hasn't had surgery and I haven't tried it. I did have another friend mention summer squash and said it taste just like spaghetti and her family can't tell the difference so I'm going to try that first since its really a vegetable. I too love pasta!
  12. I drove for a little while and so all went well. I'm a little tired though from all the activities I did today. I feel I'm well enough to drive now so I'll be driving myself to the dr tomorrow.
  13. I finally have a NSV to share! Granted I'm one week post op today????I however lost 20 pounds on my own since June but few have commented. I went to a barbecue today and upon my arrival saw two of my sisters that have not commented on my weightloss in the past couple of months nor do they no about my surgery. But today they both said "d*** you have lost weight. It looks like you've lost over 15 pounds or so". Now here's the really good part they said they thought I was my daughter from a distance. I had to laugh at that one because I'm 130 larger than her. Just for them to notice anything at all is a vast improvement . I haven't been on the scale to tell you just how much I've lost since surgery but I'll find out tomorrow when I go to the dr.
  14. Great thanks! I'm 7 days out and have been off pain meds for 3 days. I get a little tired from time to time too but I've already taken my nap for the day. Thx!
  15. Ok I'm tired of being dependent on everyone to leave the house. I'm one week post op and want to do out for a bit. Would u drive?
  16. Oh ok I may try them then. When you felt the blockage did you take the papaya enzyme? I've heard it works wonders.
  17. You're certainly welcome! It's my new nest friend. Between walking and the heating pad that's how I was able to get rid of that awful gas pain.
  18. I would probably wait until I'm on real food if it were me. The one drink would have to be on the rocks but perhaps a little Water added to it and I would sip. In my pre surgery class the nurse said try to only have a shot. I do want to share that I've read a few places on here where people r saying try your first drink somewhere private and have one other person with you because it will affect you more. I know what you mean though because I've got a couple of people with birthdays coming in the end of September and beginning of October that I'm sure are going to be looking at me without a drink and raising questions because many have already started questioning. Granted none of them know about my surgery so I've been practicing sipping on decaf tea in a glass. It'll pass for a drink???? Every movie I've watched appears to be centered around a glass of red wine. Which has been looking rather good☺so when I finally do have a drink I'm going for the red wine but I prefer the bitter verses the sweet. I would just ask my Dr. To be on the safe side. Let me know how it goes! Good luck!
  19. Do you use your heating pad? Mine has been working wonders for me. It's on my back a we speak.
  20. Welcome aboard! How r u doing?
