Has anyone here experienced bad breath pre-op diet? I never had it but now it's like ugh? I read it's a side effect due as u lose weight the fat is breaking down! Just wanted to ask! This is embarrassing! ;(

I did mine for two weeks! I'm on day 12. It's easier! Day 1-3 were the hardest! Lost 12 pounds not bad! In two days I will be plicated!!! -

Shy, is right! My dr is not charging me, it's a new procedure still so they are not charging u. They bill the insurance as lap band!

I'm doing the plication as well my surgery is on Wednesday. I've met ppl u have had it they are feeling awesome. The benefits are less slipping and less fills. Most likely the plication will be around more for newer lap band patients. It's been successfully! Can't wait for the pounds to drop! Yeah!!!!! Whoo hoo!!!!

Yes we will be in touch. I will input as much as I can. The plication has been helping a lot of ppl I heard its called the IBAND! Most likely it will be in all the new lap band patients next year!

I'm being banded and plicated on may 9th. I will stay the night at the hospital just to see if everything will be ok.

Hi phoebster: U just had it. Glad that ur happy. I met some I and patients on Tuesday nd they said they love it. Making my decision easier thanks. I'm going to ace surgery next wed! Nervous as hell!! How long did surgery do u know? -

Thanks for ur input makes us the pre-banders excited and can't wait! I think the only thing I'm afraid is hair loss, and going to the OR before going to sleep! (yikes)
