    Depressed

Ok jeffy now that the ladies have done their nicely nice thing let me say; HELLO , ya got surgery to lose weight and it's working. almost 30 pounds in less than two weeks give that a min to soak in , ok now look around these boards and see that some people can't lose that in months. Depression is a luxury i cant afford it just seems a lazy way of dealing or should i say not dealing with thoughts and feelings i dont like,For me having struggled with my weight my whole life (and depression) that little bit of buyers remorse can't be given headspace. We say in AA that an attitude of gratitude keeps us sober, it has !! Talk. Prey, meditate , do what you have to to keep from feeding that negative thinking. The reality is we are never gonna get together and split a whole extra cheese erything pizza but we have this place to come lean on each other for support. Best advice I was given pre op was"learn to embrace change"
  3. Read that and thank you , so glad that now if I break a hip I can say bone density issue and the 20 or so miles a week I am running . Not because I am a 330 pound 45 year old man who can't climb a flight of stairs. Still can't believe what an amazing gift this surgery was. What a sick addiction, worry about what might hurt us as we die of obesity !

Cost Of Pre & Post Surgery Products

Ba vitamins were getting me sick about 3 months out. I have been taking nature plus adult chewable apple cinnamon without problems and blood work is great. They are big so I split them about 10 hours apart, I can't chew them I just let them dissolve in my mouth, side effect=something sweet and good for me and mouth busy. I don't want to sound like an advertisement but I don't miss my vitamins ever!

    9 Weeks Post Op

You are doing great. I had the same problem dr and nut said because caloric intake is low. I am coming up on six months and energy levels are at all time high. I was cleared to exercise at 8 weeks and could not muster the energy to pack a bag for the gym let alone exercise . For me I had to block out the time and push myself to go at first I now do 45 min cardio minimum daily and weights very other - heaven help whoever gets in the way of that. Although it seems illogical, exercise is what helped me out of that funk

    Second Thoughts...

Congratulations 65 lbs is more than some people lose with surgery, give yourself a little butt pat,way to go kid.For me the sleeve has been the tool to keep motivated, after the mind gives in the stomach can't really follow. The single best thing I have ever done for myself ! I did notice a beer in your hand in your profile picture, you would serve yourself well to research alcohol use post surgery(beer is a carbonated beverage),honestly ask if you are ready to put that on hold for a year.If so ,RUN don't walk and get yourself a sleeve.
  11. What? Your from jersey and care what others think, that's why we sent you to Florida.

    Compression

I am 6 months from surgery my doctors say there is no science to support compression garments to prevent or lessen skin issues. I find wearing a tummy belt gives me a full feeling sooner when I eat.
