1 pouch chicken of the Sea salmon

    1 beaten egg

1/4 cup shredded low-fat cheddar cheese

    2 Tbsp bread crumbs

    2 Tbsp finely chopped onion

Make into 2-3 patties. I made 2/ ate 1 and was FULL!!

Heat in skillet sprayed with Pam. Heat until cooked through' date=' turning over once in pan.

    18 protein/ 6 carbs/6 fats

    Yum!![/quote']

Sounds good. I am going to try this. Thanks for sharing!

  2. I am not doing low carb right now' date=' but I thought this would be nice for those that are. I made this a while back and it's really good. I was skeptical, but it really is pretty amazing.

    Ingredients:

For the crust: For the pizza:

[*']1 (8 oz.) package of full fat cream cheese (room temp.)

    [*]2 eggs

    [*]Freshly ground black pepper

    [*]Garlic powder

    [*]1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

    [*]1/2 cup jarred marinara sauce*

    [*]A pinch of cayenne pepper

    [*]1/2 teaspoon oregano

[*]1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, or more if desired

    [*]Sauteed pepperoni

    [*]Garlic powder

*Finding a sauce that doesn’t contain added sugar is not easy, but I did find a “no sugar added” by Ragu that with a few added seasonings tastes fantastic on the pizza. You could always make your own too but I’m not THAT brave yet.

    Directions:

For the crust: For the pizza:

    [*]Preheat oven to 350.

    [*]Butter a 9×13 baking dish

[*]Blend cream cheese and eggs and season with pepper & garlic powder

[*]Add parmesan cheese and stir until combined

    [*]Pour into buttered baking dish

[*]Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown (this step is important. Make sure it cooks until golden brown so that it doesn't turn out too soft.)

[*]Let crust cool for 15 minutes before adding toppings

[*]After crust is cooked, raise oven to 400 degrees

[*]Mix together marinara sauce, garlic powder, cayenne pepper & oregano

[*]Top crust with marinara and spread evenly

    [*]Top with mozzarella cheese

    [*]Add toppings

[*]Bake for 8 minutes or until cheese is bubbly

This pizza really surprised me. I made mine with ground beef as topping, but you can use any topping you like. My husband even liked it....and he is super picky!!

The crust is not crisp like traditional pizza. Make sure you cook it til the top is golden brown and let it cool the full 15 minutes before adding the toppings and that will help.

This sounds so good. Thanks for sharing :)

  3. THANKS FOR WATCHING AND PLEASE CONTINUE TO DO SO...I UPLOAD MY NEW ONE TOMORROW...BUT I AM READY TO VENT...LOLBVS...SO NOW I HAVE THIS DR IN MY EAR TALKING ABOUT CONSIDERING THE SLEEVE INSTEAD OF LAPBAND...AND NOW I AM TOTALLY CONFUSED ABOUT WHAT I WANT TO DO...I JUST DON'T KNOW WHICH ONE IS BETTER FOR ME' date=' I JUST DON'T KNOW PERIOD...DO YOU KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THE SLEEVE OR HAVE ANY THOUGHTS??[/quote']

A friend of mine had the sleeve on April 5th. She was smaller than me but she didn't want the band. She seems happy with her decision. She spent a lot of time looking on utube at the videos with people having the sleeve. She spent 2 days in the hospital and is doing fine.

  4. I was also banded on the 25th about 10 am. Im not hungry' date=' but I eat Jello twice a day and sip chicken broth twice a day. I also have one sugar free popsicle a day and sip Water and diet green tea throughout the day. The pains im having are straining to get out of bed or walking around gives me gas pains. Im wondering when I can have mashed potatoes though... What did your doc say?[/quote']

Nothing but Clear Liquids for 2weeks. I can only take 2or 3 bites of Jello and I'm full. I want to cry because I just want to have one large burp and I think I will feel better

  6. So my surgery date is tommorrow' date=' surgery is not scheduled until 2:15pm. I'm a little nervous about tommorrow, but I know that God has it all in control, and the desired outcome will be worth it. I've been on the liquid diet since last Thursday, started clear liquids yesterday (a day early), just to see if I could handle it. As such I am a little hungry but it is manageable. I'm glad I discovered the LBT chat forums, I have so many questions, and you guys seem to answer many of them from personal experiences. I will keep you posted.

    Best Wishes![/quote']

My surgery is tomorrow too. We are here to support each other and we will get through ths!!!!

  8. I just came from my pre op clearance I lost 15 pounds doing this pre op diet. I'm not even hungry anymore I have learned to space my Optifast shakes and sugar free Jello to the point I really am not hungry. I pray that I can keep this up once I am banded this Wednesday. I also learned that I was eating because it was time to eat not because I was hungry. I am happy and think this is the start of a very good future :)
