  13. Thank you! This is very helpful!
  14. Four weeks out, I have not lost anything in a week ....so depressing.... I am trying to get all of my protein in but having trouble getting in 60 grams... Doing good on getting in my liquids....haven't been released to exercise yet, but trying to walk some everyday......ugh,... sure what to do...
  15. It did not hurt at all and it felt do great to have it out!
  16. I had a sinus infection at 7 days post op and was given antibiotics. I did not have any problems taking the pills.
  17. Yay! I am glad you are feeling great! Plenty of room on the loser's bench!
  18. I am so glad you are doing well! There is plenty of room for you on the loser's bench
  19. I did. I must admit it was uncomfortable that first week. I had it removed exactly one week after surgery. I feared having it removed because I thought it would hurt! I was pleasantly surprised though, it took all of 2 seconds and did not hurt. I can do so much more with out the drain!
  20. Thanks everyone. I am 6 days post op and have been on all clear fluids. Tomorrow I start full liquids...little nervous about getting all of my protein in.
  21. How many protein shakes did you drink a day ?

  24. Hi All! The surgery went well on the 12th. I have to say the 1st night was rough....the doc gave me morphine for pain ... Only took two doses of 1mil. Was more scared of throwing up than the pain. I developed sinus congestion and ended up dry heaving the second night. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. By last night, I was feeling better. Still having trouble getting to sleep because of the drain but for the most part, I have no pain. Trying to get all of the liquids down. Not hungry at all. Hope everyone else is doing good!
