  1. I think that if lasik will make you happy go for it. But I have her told it only lasts for 10 years. As for as the skin. ... I say leave it. I don't understand why people who get the surgery act like they are abbot to launch a modeling career. You know were as big as 2 or more people and now ur in a healthy beautiful body be happy and stop obsessing. Congrats on ur weight loss!

  2. Yes I had hunger.. that has been consistent. But you really have no choice but to eat smaller portions. My favorite thing about the sleeve is that I have to carefully plan out what I eat. Yesterday I wanted to eat a kfc biscuit but I didn't because I knew if I did that would be all I would fit. Instead I make sure I eat healthy foods and eat small meals 5 times a day.

  3. It might not be worry. I've lost about 70 pounds and while everyone gives me compliments... I know my hubby really misses my 244lb body. He always says how he loved to feel my weight on him and how everything was so much curvier and fuller. My boobs are gone. My ass is gone. And although I do look sexier overall I understand where he is coming from. He is 180 6" and he is trying to be supportve but he saw my "weight" but never my "weight problem"

  4. I stopped nuvaring a few years ago because I gained 20 pounds per month the short time I was on it... I should'v sued them for the price of my surgery cause that's when most of it happened. Lol. But recently because of my sleeve brain I couldn't remember pills so I went back to nuva thinking that the sleeve would stop me from giving into the insatiable caveman hunger that I had before. Well, ithe first month was fine but this econd month I have been hungry all day and all night. The only reason I haven't gained weight is because I eat lettuce instead of fried chicken when I'm hungry. But I don't know how long it'll be b4 the loss stopsbecause of this nuva ring. And btw the 20 pound thing also happened to my friend a couple years later who was skinny!

  5. Update** I posted this about 6 months ago. And to the newbies- you shouldn't cheat. It hurts like hell and people wo see you try will label that person that "always throws up." Like my family labeled me. I learned the hard way but I was pretty good. Now at 6 months I went from a very tight size 18 to a size 8.- 244lbs to 177, and when I tell u I am super sexy and curvy at a size 8- I tell u no lie. I eat a well balanced diet. Not for a person with the sleeve but for a person in general. I eat carbs, Protein, veggies and fruits, and.... chocolate. Life is good and I'm still losing and I feel wonderfuly healthy and full of energy. Btw... I ate popcorn like 2 weeks out and nathans mini hotdogs (that I still regret) but I lived.

  6. It might not be that bad. I was super concerned at first. But now that the weights coming off, I just follow all the hints offline to keping skin tight and admire my leaner body in the mirror. My belly sags a lil but its much better to look at that my fat that used to sag a lot!

  7. My doctor said that there is a procedure tht could fix I... but it also may take away some of the restriction. I am hinking about it if I still have it a a year from now. I want to be able to eat more. I was steadily losing weight b4 my surgery... it just wasn't going fast enough and consistently enough so I think I can handle a little more room in my belly after goal- even if its just salad! While I ponder whether I want to have it done.... Prevacid works great! They sell it over the counter but you have to take a double dose to make it equal to the Rx and the capsules are much bigger

  8. Call me a rebel. I try to stay away from fried foods, but my NUT says that it's not a bad thing in moderation. So for the most part I cook at home and I don't fry. But when I eat out- I eat it sometimes. Fried foods were never my particular vice so it doesn't scare me to eat it. Filler foods like rice, Pasta, and bread were my vices so those I am scared to death of! Last week my sister made rice with my favorite sauce and I ate a lil. It went down fine like most things but now I am scared to eat rice again. Rice and bread still go down easy for me so I have to treat it like the plague to keep losing.

  9. Never, ever eat Wendy's spicy chicken nuggets post-op. That was a horrendous feeling I had today after attempting to eat them for lunch. Second, I went and donated 11 garbage bags (6big heavy duty) of clothes and shoes that are now huge on me. I am in a 10 from a tight 18. The only thing I kept thinking was that somebody better appreciate my beautiful clothes!!! RIP my fat clothes.

  10. Get off the diet. I read many of these diets sleevers have and I think its unrealistic long term and also could lead to cases like yours. I suggest u continue to do cardio for health but increase your carb and fats. Eat what u want and enjoy food and u will slowlygain the weight back. Once u get close to where u want to be work with ur NUT to develop a realistic maintenance plan.
