My doctor does a fast track program for those that are self-pay and its only 45 days.

I would call them daily. I got my approval in 48 hours from BCBS but I had no idea until I called. Also, seems like some customer service reps are more knowledgeable than others. Once I called and the guy didn't know where to look, another time I called she knew right away. Hang in there!

Not need a seat belt extension on an airplane, feel comfortable in the seat, and cross my legs at the knee!

It's July 17th at 10am I decided to have this done in January and now I finally have a date after jumping through all the hoops. Can't wait to join the bandsters!

I am requesting July 16,17 or 23rd because of work and family obligations. My surgery coordinator said she will try to get one of those dates. I will call her today and let you know what I find out. Have you gotten a date? Btw that puppy is so cute!

It was harder for me to stop drinking diet coke than to quit smoking! I just finished day 3 of giving up diet soda and it has been a challenge. I drink crystal light and lots of water. You can do this so just think positive! It amazes me how attached we get to things like drinks and food.

I'm BCBS of Texas and was submitted on Tuesday and approved today

I really didn't think I would be this excited, but it's so EXCITING! Had to share my happy thoughts with my lapband family I was approved today hehe.
