So I am about to be 3 weeks post surgery. I truly believe now that everyday I am getting better. Some days may be more challenging then others but I am finally realizing that I did do the right thing for me. I am still working on keeping my energy level up. Hard to get all the protein I need. Now whatever goes in my mouth is some sort of protein. Was excited that I could finish 4 oz of my shake the other day. My eyes seem to be still larger than my stomach...

Was sleeved on July 11. The recovery has been nothing that I expected. Was not prepared for the intense pain, not being able to sleep, nausea, depression. I am home now and on Day 3 post op. I am feeling better. Everyone was correct when the said each person is different and everyday you get a little bit better.
