    Sleepyone What kind of protein are you drinking? I really don't want to go back to having ensure again. I was thinking of trying a fruity Protein Drink, but not sure what to try. any and all suggestions are welcomed.

    Fills.....

    Well I didn't get a fill. I told the dr that I have been having problems with getting sickl. So she would not do the fill. I have to stay away from all types of breads, pastas, corn and I want to say that there is one more but don't have the sheet handy to look at it. So if I can go the next two weeks with out getting sick than I will get a fill if not I have to go in and have a swallow study done. What ever that is. So please say a little pray for me. I so want this to work for me.

    Fills.....

    Well ladies I go in tomorrow to get my first fill. I'm excited and can't wait to get it. I have been at the same weight for about three weeks now. no gains and no loss so I guess that is good. But I'm ready to see the scale go down again. all together I have lost 29lbs and I so bad wanted to have 30 off before my first fill. So did any one get their next appointment schulded or do you just call the dr when you stop losing? I will let every one know how things went for me when I get home tomorrow night.

    breakfast Ummmm nothing I had to be at the dr early to go over my meds. I know, know excuse! snack sf fudgesicle lunch chicken wrap ( tortilla, chicken, olives, tomatoe, lettuce, cheese and cream cheese) 2 oz cottage cheese supper 2oz chicken mixed with cream cheese and olives served with 16 thin wheat crackers cottage cheese snack sf fudgesicle I went back to the gym today! Yea for me! It always makes me feel better when I go to the gym.

    MandaElaine, You are making me laugh! I can feel mine also. I just hope mine never gets to the point that it sticks out. I went to a meeting right after surgery and there was a lady there that hers stuck out. She had a big knot in the middle of her stomach. That I thought was gross. Feeling it is fine but I don't want to see it

    breakfast 3oz yogurt 1/2 C granola Cereal lunch 16 wheat thins 2 oz ham 6 cherry tomatoes 2 oz cottage cheese laughin cow triangle supper chicken wrap tortilla 2oz chicken traingle laughin cow cheese lettuce tomatoe 5 olives 3oz peaches snack sf fudgesicle no exercise today, my foot is bothering me again. Bad enough that I took a pain killer for it, twice today. I hope it lets up I don't want to go back and have cortizon shots again. I have plantar fashictis. It's a muscle in the bottom of the foot that is not strecthing properly, The best way I can explain it.

    breakfast Honey made breakfast and even made me turkey sausage. 2 pc turkey sausage 2 eggs potatoe fed half of the eggs and potatoe to the dogs. lunch skipped Supper 2 fish patties ( not real fawn of fish) snack chocolate Worked in my yard most of the day. Sweat was dripping off of me.

    Exercise Program

    I'm still going to the gym. I meet with a trainer and he gave me a work out to do. I do 30 minutes of cardio and than I do 30 minutes of strenght training. After surgery I started on the treadmll since I'm use to walking. Now I've moved on to the ellipitcal, When I can do this a a certain pace and not feel winded I'm moving to a differnt machine I can't think of what it is called but it is like the elliptical. My strenght training I was only doing 15 to 20 lbs because of the limit the Dr. put on me. But I'm now doing 25-30lbs. So I'm pushing my self harder now that restriction is removed from me. And I can tell also, I walk out of the gym now looking like I just got out of the shower and forgot to dry off. So have you changed any thing in your work out?

    Breakfast 3oz yogurt 1/2 C granola cereal lunch 2 oz ham 3 oz cottage cheese super rib eye steak potatoe salad Supper did not go very good. I think I ate to fast. We went to a wedding and I didn't chew my food enough( I think) and I had to take a trip to the little girls room so it could come back up. I was too afraid to eat than and gave it to my husband to finish. So I probably had three bites of steak and 2 bites of potatoe salad when I had to go to the bathroom. So Chew, chew, chew!! But after a couple of hours I did fine eating a spice cupcake and than a strawberry cup cake. But garentee I took very little bites and really chewed on the cupcake. So why the food I should not eat goes down fine and the food I should eat I had a problem with. At home 4 turkey frozen meatballs

    Thanks Daisy on the no skipping breakfast. Breakfast is my biggest problem, I never ate breakfast before and it is some thing i 'm really trying to work on now. I didn't have problem with the egg roll but the rice I had to eat very slowly.

    Thanks Every one! breakfast 3oz yogurt granola Cereal lunch budding turkey meat 2 oz string cheese cherry tomatoes about 5-6 supper turkey wrap ( i'm hooked on wraps lately) 2 oz turkey laughin cow cheese lettuce tomatoe olives fresh cherries (not on the wrap Haha!) snack chocalate sf pudding 1 hour at the gym 30 minutes on the ellipitcal 30 minutes strenght training

    Hello ladies I'm sorry I let you all down! I'm back and I promise I will not leave you again and if I do I will let you all know first. I have been doing fine, I 'm eating a little more. I can't wait to get my first fill next week. I have been doing great with the exercise part. ok turning a new leaf today. here is my day. breakfast 3oz yogurt 1/2 c granola Cereal lunch ham wrap ( very very good and tasty) 2 slice ham lettuce tomatoe laughing cow cheese tortilla Supper schwans meal ( was very good also, my honey got them for me) chicken broccolli tortinis ( spelled wrong?) snack fresh raspberries broccolli salad I am down 29lbs since I started my new journey!

    Tuesday June 5 Breakfast omlet 2 turkey sausage 1oz mushrooms babybel cheese 1/2 egg sub Lunch can chicken 1oz cream cheese 1oz sweet relish 16 wheat thin crackers Dinner ham budding meat 1/2 c cottage cheese 10 green olives snack fudgesicle no exercise today! Instead I helped move the heavy picnic table at work so the grass could be mowed under it. And now I have a knot in my stomach and some burning feeling. going to take it easy and make sure I'm ok before exercising.

    I'm Excited

    Hello every one! Before surgery I had told my husband that I wanted to weigh, measure and take a picture as close to the 2nd of each month, since that is the day I was banded. Well I weighed, measured and failed to get the picture taken. But I have not lost any weight in a few weeks now but I have not gained either. But I'm excited the most about the measurements. So are you ready to hear what there are? I lost 2 1/2 inches in my breast ( I'm hoping that is more from the fat on my back or under my arms than my breast please!) I lost 1 inch from my waist and 3 inches from my hips. I'm so glad I decided to measure. The scale might have stopped showing the lbs coming off but the measuring tape picked up where it left off for me. So are you excited about some thing and would like to share it! Please tell us, we would love to hear what it is!

    Sleepyone Please let us all know what the dr. says. I also hope that he can help with the gas and while you are there ask him about constipation because that usally sooner than we all want it. See what he recommends for you, just in case. Take it from me and Daisy it is not good! And no I don't have a fetish with the scale or the measureing tape. I don't weigh but once a week and I don't measure but once a month. I want to have that excitment. So I figure saturday for the scale and it also gives me incentive when I see the scale drop to stick to the diet a little better on the weekends. When I'm discouraged I seem to eat more. And I have my husband measure me or my mom and I think once a month is enough. Natalie I'm so excited for you! Don't it feel good to drop clothes size! My problem is I have so many differnt size clothes from dieting all the time that I won't need to buy any for a while. I think I will make that a reward for my self, Thanks! Whymomwhy I hope you keep losing the weight and never see a stand still on this journey. Keep up the good work! May blooming bandsters group is for all May banders.     Hello Brwnangel I noticed you added this a couple of days ago and no one has answered you. I think maybe you should call and check with you dr.'s office. My dr used glue on me, so I can't help much.

    Gas

    Your stomach is still swelling from surgery. I also felt like I might have made a big mistake at first also I could hardly get 8oz of liquid down in a day for probably 2-3 weeks. And I was use to always drinking. I carried a drink with me at all times before surgery. Still I don't drink as much as before. Now I worry about getting enough fluids in. We will all adjust over time.
