  1. Chicken salad egg salad tuna salad all made with light mayo and i found a sugar free relish, used my bullet to mash it up good
  2. I am 7 months out and still couldn't drink 11oz of any thing in 5 min, but no you don't need to worry about liquids stretching your sleeve
  3. South Eastern Virginia here, so far only lots of rain, not much wind, but already schools are closed tomorrow and some of our bridges, supposed to be worst here from 8pm tonight till 8am tomorrow morning.

  6. I usually eat left overs up to a week out, have never had any problem with it before or after surgery.

  8. I weigh my self once a week, and again on the 21 of every month, since i had surgery on the 21 i like to keep track of how much i lose over all every month. It is not required by my doctor, i just enjoy seeing every pound i lose. I also like to kind watch for stalls or if i gain anything so that i know if i need to watch my portions or add more exercise.

  10. 7 months out and i have never thrown up. The 1st few months it took me awhile to learn how much it took to fill me up with out making me miserable.
  11. I am 7months and my hair loss is slowing down and I can see the new hair coming in at the front of my hair line.
  12. I was watching Dr Oz today and he recomemened rubbing deodorant on the area that chaff before starting to exercise.
  13. i was told to try a stool softner first and if after 24 hours that didn't work to do a laxative.
  14. I am almost 7 months out, and still losing. I have a lot left to lose. I am down 100lbs so far and the first 4 or 5 months the weight just melted off. Now i am having to work a little harder to keep it coming off at the pace i want. I am now excersizing 5 days a week, which is much easier now. My goal is to lose 50lbs in the second 6 months and another 50 in the third 6months. At 18 months i will decided what I have left to lose.
  15. It's never to soon to ask someone what sent they are wearing. I have been known to ask an occasional stranger what they are wearing if i really like a scent.
  16. I was finishing up day of surgery and it started back up very heavy the day after surgery, because of the blood thinners, mine was super crazy before surgery, i am finally getting back to it being semi regular
  17. I am 6 months out, I have no buyer remorse, the sleeve was the best thing I have ever done for myself. No depression though I have had a few days , crying for stupid reasons or no reason, last for 30 min to an hour and then I am fine again. I've heard that part is from the hormones being released as you lose weight.
  18. I use the premixed muscle milk. I didn't mind powder before surgery but can't stand the powder now.
  19. I enjoy it on celery, and english muffins, even though 6 months out i can't eat the whole english muffin.
  20. I was able to eat normally all the way till 6pm the night before surgery, no problems orcomplications.
  21. Glad to find this thread. I am 6ft even, started out at 407, had surgery at 387 and as of today down to 308, down from a 36 to a 26/28. My goal is to get to 199 just to be under 200 and then I will decide if i want to go for the extra 25. I am 6months out and it did till till i lost about 75lbs before people started comenting on seeing how much i had lost.
  22. I know a couple people in my support group that are vegetarian and vegan, i know they got all of there protein from non meat sources, they talk about lots of beans. I do know 1 of them at 17 months out still drinks 1 protein drink to make sure she gets all her protein.
  23. I completely agree, I am 6 months out have lost 98 pounds and my approach is to not deny myself anything, but to focus on protein and healthier eating. When i feel the need for someting a little less healthy i know a few bites will satasify me.
  24. I am 6 months out, every once in a while i will eat sweets, but i make sure to keep track of it on my fitness pal. I count and measure every little bite if it is something unhealthy.
  25. 6months out and it still happens to me, espically when i eat out, i order something small and then wander if i should order something else just in case. I always go home with a box. It is much easier to eat at home.
