Try adding fresh or frozen fruit, it helped me a little depending on the type of fruit you add. Mixed berries or fresh strawberries usually help. Splenda does not have any calories, did your Dr. say not to use sweetners? Have you tried the chocolate Protein Powder?

I also had pain when doing situps in the port area, but stop after and I haven't tried to do anymore I just stick with aerobics. Haven't told my Dr. yet.

I went through the same thing with my family, but you just have to do what you have to do for you and not them and let then know it's for your health so that you can live a long healthy life. Try putting the Protein Powder in the blender and blend with fruit, ice and skim milk, makes a good smoothie and fills you up. And DivaDown is right about the Atkins shakes they are very good.
