I got into it with the Nutritionist and I told them that I was upset with how unprofessional she was with me and I was going to let the doctor know and now they won't give my messages to the doctor. It's crazy! I also had a horrible experience at the hospital I had to take out my own iv because they forgot even Though I asked them like 6 times because it was hurting me. I was released then the hospital called my husband at 1am telling him to being me back to the hospital so they can take out my iv. Then the next morning my husband went to fill my Prescriptions and they wrote my pain prescription out wrong so I had no pain meds for an entire day after having Morphine every 4 hours.

Pre op diet I lost nothing really due to all my food funerals.

Has anyone rode a bike yet? I need to start exercising now that all my soreness finally went away.

Pre surgery I use to ride my bike 7 miles each way to work.

I had surgery on 9/17 I had a lot of pain in the Incision where they took my stomach out of but that finally went away.

I really hate my doctors office after my last visit and for the safety of others I will not go back to them.

That's awesome! Good luck on your pre op diet! I went on a few food Funerals before my pre op diet and gained like 8lbs but then lost it on the pre op diet.

I had surgery last Monday 9/17 and I've noticed since Monday my face and hair are really oily is this happening to anyone else?

I had the same thing I was carrying around a puke bucket my entire hospital stay. because every time I sat up or walked it felt like I was going to throw up but all that came out was burps. Walking helps and so does Gas-X extra strength thin strips peppermint. I had my husband run out and buy them for me because my hospital didn't give me anything for gas.

You could have flat soda carbonation is what you can't have

Sooooo im kind of a nervous wreck... my surgery is Tuesday!!!! Im excited n worried @ the same time... I jus read a really sad n scary post n it has me wondering if I shud actually do this... I dont wanna b selfish 2 my 1 year old...

I was in hospital for a week' date=' then home for a week before I went back to work. I have a sedentary desk job where I sit throughout much of the day. But even with my job, I felt that I went back too soon. I was exhausted halfway thru my day. I know everyone is different tho, and im glad you made it thru your day ok.[/quote']

I also have a desk job and my chair at work is higher then my Furniture at home so it's easier to get up. Plus I almost never rest at home. Always something to do.

I as well am 1 week post-op and returned to work today .... Still felt discomfort from the incisions however made it through ..... Congrats to us both

Have you weighed yourself yet? Do you have muscle Spasms? I have it in my back and arms. I also have Rheumatoid arthritis so maybe it's that. My Immune system is shot after being in the hospital 3 days and lack of food. I dream about bread and butter. The one from outback Specifically ???? 2 more weeks!

I broke my ankle really bad had to have a plate and 9 screws put in on 12/24/11 and was out of work for 4 months so I don't have anytime left at work so I went back. It wasn't so bad. I just missing riding my bike to work I hate taking the MTA. I get my staples out tomorrow! My allergies are killing me. My stomach feels like its ripping every time I sneeze. ????

Today is my first day back to work and 1 week post op. the pain the first few days was horrible but I feel a lot better. Just took a little longer to walk to the ferry and take the train and stuff. I have to give myself more time tomorrow.

I also weighted myself for the first time and I'm down 15 lbs!

I feel your pain. I'm 5 days post op and my head hunger is killing me.

Im a single mom but me n my sis live 2gether n my mom is coming 4 a week

I think a week of help will be good. Today is 5 days post op and I feel 80% better. My sister has 4 kids and is 2 months pre op and she's doing great. Best of luck to you.

My mom came over and watched the baby when i was in the hospital. I got home Wednesday at like 11pm But she drove me crazy and went home yesterday. My husband took off work all week and has been a big help but I'm able to still change diapers and do light cleaning up. I go back to work Monday.

I'm not going to lie. I was sleeved on 9/17 and my gas pains hurt like hell. Now 4 days out the gas pains are getting better. As for my daughter she's 2 and I think it's better I had it done now. She gets that mamma tummy hurts and not to touch it but she's not freaked out.

Mommeof3 I've been using icy hot Patches on the back of my neck and one on spine it's helped a lot. my back and headaches are gone within mins. My side still kills.

I'm still in a good amount of pain. Especially on my right side just a few inches from my belly button. Its a weird hallow feeling. I still have a good Amout of gas too. Ive had some 2 bottles of g2 and almost 2 cups some jello.Since wednesday. How are you feeling?

I feel a lot better. I might even go home tonight. That gas pain was like nothing I've experienced before. Thanks for all the nice words and prayers.

Still in the hospital. I feel like crap. Didn't think I would feel this horrible. I keep throwing up which kilingl my stomach. And every burp feels like a dry heave. I'm just not trying Jello for the first time .

Thanks everyone! My surgery is at noon. They let me sit downstairs. So now I'm watching my husband eat a bagel sandwich. I'm starving!!
