  7. Hang in there. It does get better. I promise! I'm 8 days post open and last week was awful. But you'll turn a corner soon. Just Hang In There! Right now I'm laying on the couch because I took my liquid vitamins too fast and I feel like I'm gonna barf! I'm waiting for it to pass so I can go walking.

  10. I have some bruising too. But call your doctor just to let him be aware and just in case he wants to check you out. My bruises are in other areas, but you should call no matter what.
  11. I've finally decided to name my band. She's only a week old, but it came to me as I was doing my hair today... Her name shall be know from here on out as Bon Qui Qui! Because I know she will "cut me" if I treat her bad. She will tell me "don't make me get crazy" if I eat too much or the wrong thing. I know she's going to be a good friend. Happy Band Naming!

  13. The port area is swollen, but it's all the upper area from both sides. Just under the port, north.
  14. Sugar free/fat free pudding & Jello, fat free yogurt, broth, Protein powder, fat free milk, sugar free apple sauce, sugar free Popsicles. If you can't find one of the u shaped hot pads to go over the shoulders then either get two hot pads or buy one, borrow one. Gas x strips, liquid multi vitamin/ mineral.
  15. I'm 5 1/2 days post op. I'm still having a lot of pain in my upper abdominal area...right under my chee chee's. About how much longer will this last? Sitting and bending over are the worst! The gas pain is gone, hallelujah!
