What Do I Need After Surgery?

I'm going to the grocery store tomorrow, what should I have in the house for my recovery?

The only thing I have is GasX.

Liquid tylenol , broth, nausea med from doc. I would buy egg beaters , and cream soups. I didn't need gas x.

Protein shakes' date=' sugar free popsicles sugar free jello[/quote']

Milk of magnesia and several different soups!

Heating pad!!..did more for me then the pain meds

I second the heating pad suggestion. It really got me through. I bought one that is made to hug the shoulders.....I think sunbeam makes it and my husband got it at cvs or Walgreens.

Sugar free/fat free pudding & Jello, fat free yogurt, broth, Protein powder, fat free milk, sugar free apple sauce, sugar free Popsicles.

If you can't find one of the u shaped hot pads to go over the shoulders then either get two hot pads or buy one, borrow one.

Gas x strips, liquid multi vitamin/ mineral.
