About Me

  • Biography
I have battled with weight issues all of my life. Since beginning this Journey in July of 2011, I have taken off 38 lbs. I had my surgery on Monday, March the 26th, 2012. I am excitedly anticipating reaching my goal of 50-75 more lbs.

    Banded Yesterday

I showered after the 24 hrs as well, with no problem. As long as U dnt submerge them in water, U should be fine. I showered with my back to the water to avoid soaking.

    Banded Yesterday

I was in that same predicament last week! I had the worst pain at the top of my left shoulder and the left side of my neck. Was banded a week ago and thought I was havin a heart attack! And yes...it is gas, but gas from the air that got into ur body during the Laproscopic Procedure. It will get better. Give it abt 2-3 more days. Ur body has to absorb it. But...U must walk around as much as U can, even if it's just around the house. Walking will speed up the absorption. Hope this helps. U will be better before U know it! Good Luck!

  10. I know this is TMI, but I am desperately in the NEED to know! My bowels have not moved since B4 surgery. Tomorrow, April 2nd will be one week out. Is this normal? Any suggestions on what to take?

Ok, wow! Didn't think I could drive so soon. I stopped pain meds on day 3. Still moving slow, but pain has been reduced to a tolerable soreness. Thx so much. I am excited to try it today!
