I'm in a stall as well. No scale movement for the last 3.5 weeks. It is very frustrating but at least it's he scale is not going up!

    Goodbye 75 Pounds :)

I was craving a salad at 5 weeks out and had one. Came right back up not even ten minutes later. Have not wanted one since!

    Commercials

I was the same way for my first 2-3 weeks. For me it was all those commercials with the big juicy steaks! I was going crazy with all the cravings. It does past. The more you are able to eat, the fewer cravings you will have. I am almost two months and still haven't gotten that steak. Dont even like the taste of red meat anymore. It's all part of the process!

    Period. From. Hell.

I has not had a period in years since I have no ovaries. However I for one after the surgery and it was almost two weeks. Even when I did get my period it only ever lasted for 3-4 days. I know it has everything to do with the hormones that are being released and bombarding our body.

    Im A May Sleever!

I was sleeved on 5/30 and lost 27 pounds total. I have been in a stall for just over 3 weeks and I am starting to get very nervous. I don't know what to do to break this stall. I've tried all protien and no carbs, light carbs and proteins and today I am going to try heavy carbs. I just want to scream!

    Atkins Advantage

Those are my absolute favorite. I love how "thin" the texture is. I can't stomach those think and chalky shakes. I also had to kick coffee for my pre-op liquid diet and there is a chocolate cafe flavor that was so good! I still drink those now 6 weeks post op.

    Still In Stall!

I was sleeved on May 30th and have been in a stall for almost four weeks! I was taking it pretty well for the first 3 weeks but now I am frustrated and concerned and disgusted and angry. I am trying to be more patient and I know the weight will come off eventually. It is just a frustrating thing to see no movement in the scale for so long!
  11. Has anyone noticed that their sleeve is tighter in the morning? I think this is happening to me. I can barely get in 2-3 ounces in the mornings. No problems in the afternoon or evening. It's getting to the point that I want to skip breakfast altogether but I know that is a no-no. It doesn't help that I am six weeks out and have been in a stall for the last 3.

3 Weeks Out And Very Pleased -

Congrats on getting it done so quickly! Next time you are able to chicken it will only be a misdemeanor. Lol.
  13. That was too cute. And funny. Sorry!
  14. That is very true! The NSV's should have been number one!
  15. I love this site! I get all my questions answered and you all have never steered me wrong. My top 5: #5 milk of magnesia is the nectar of the gods! That stuff works like nothing else. And with no discomfort. #4. Stalls happen. Deal with it. The weight will come off. It has no choice. I can't maintain all this fat on my current caloric intake. #3. Plan your meals ahead of time. If you dont know what you are going to eat, you are more likely to make poor choices. #2. Never trust a fart! That is one I just took everyone's word for. I have no desire to learn that on my own. I trust you all! #1. If I think it or have a question about it, put it on the board. Someone out there has experienced it before and knows what to do! What have you learned?

    1 Week Post-Op

The first 2-3weeks post op are the worst for cravings! Maybe it's because that is when we are on the most restrictive diet in that we just get consume a lot of food or liquids. Just be strong and know that it will pass.
  18. I think that was a great video. She has an interesting perspective, having been on both sides of the coin. Thanks for sharing!
  19. I've been very nauseous the last few days and vomit after eating very little. Even water now is making me nauseous and I already struggle with getting in all my protein and water at 5 weeks post op. I'm not sick (I feel great) and I'm not complaining either but I would love to keep some food down. I'm in a 3 week stall and want to lose the weight in a healthy manner. Anything OTC that has worked for others? I hate that I can't have a nice cold ginger ale!

If I Dont Lose The 10Lbs

If you replace one or two meals a day with a protien shake and have a low calorie/high protein dinner you will lose that in no time at all. It just sounds scary but you can do it!
