  1. I have Cigna also and had to do the six months physician monitored diet. I was sleeved on the 16th and feel great. I also tried all those diets, weight watchers twice, and they just didnt work for me either. Welcome, we can go through this together.
  2. Welcome. I just had surgery this past Monday. I started on here in March. I am learning a lot and getting some great support. I am like you, still sore but getting better every day. I am eating soup right now actually. What a you able to eat?
  3. I had my sleeve on Monday (04/16/12) and I swear sometimes it still seems like my stomach growls. I am not sure if that is it or the gas still in my system. Any suggestions?
  4. I wish I did. I have taken Zoloft for several years now. It works, I do know that. Sorry I could not help with the post op. Maybe if you do not get an answer on here you should call your doctor.

  7. I am still doing my preop diet of no carbs and fat. It is hard I will admit and there have been times that I just wanted to give up and eat a cheeseburger but I know that come Monday, I will be headed for a new me and that is what keeps my spirits up. I know, easier said than done but seriously, it can help.
  8. I am on the 2nd week of my diet and it is kicking my butt. Sometimes I just want to quit, but I have a good support system so that is good.
  9. I am having my surgery on Monday also and he told me 2 weeks. I also have a desk job and think maybe a can go back a week and a half but we will see. I am waiting for a reconsideration from my insurance because they denied it for not being medical necessary. So I wish you luck with the insurance process. I am anxious but it will be all worth it in the end.
  10. What can you not eat? For instance, I am having whole wheat toast with no fat jelly, scramble eggs and a small glass of milk for breakfast. Is that safe for the preop diet? I my surgeyr was not approved but I went ahead and started this diet anyway because the office has hope. What exactually can you have and cannot have?
  11. Hi everyone! My names is Amanda and I am 32. I just finished my required 6 months with the dietician (insurance made me) and now I am waiting on a call to schedule a appointment with the surgeon. I am nervous, excited and scared all at the same time. She went over the preop and postop diet with me today. That is alot of liquid. Well I hope to hear from them soon, I will keep you informed.
