I too am interested in this topic. My husband needs practically a full set of veneers and would love to find a great dentist to go to down there! Hoping someone has some info.

I drove to San Diego. I live in Arizona so it was only a 4.5 hour drive for me. We parked our car near the border and walked over and they picked us up at McDonald's. They drove us back to our car on the way home. If I was to do it again, I would have taken the short flight to San Diego. The ride back was really uncomfortable. You feel EVERY bump in the road, sleeping is uncomfortable, etc. I had an awesome recovery, I was back to driving, and normal activities 3 days out. The only thing I didn't do was lift my son for a couple of weeks. Dr. Kelly and his staff are the BEST!!! You will love them! Good luck on your journey!

I'm 11 Weeks out. I've lost 28 pounds. SW of 201 and CW of 173. I don't have as much restriction as I thought I would. I still feel like I can eat a lot. I can easily have a half a chicken breast some fruit and some veggies all at one sitting. It seems as though i'm going to be a slow loser. My neighbor had surgery 3 weeks ago and has lost just as much as me. So frustrating.

I was sleeved by Dr. Kelly and I had NO drain. However, the two other patients I met while I was there had them.

You are so lucky. That was my only complaint about my surgery. I didn't have easy veins and the needle seemed huge. I can't count how many times they stuck me.

I was sleeved 4/9 and have only lost 21 pounds. I feel like I lost a lot at first and am not losing now. I'm so frustrated. It seems like everyone else is losing a lot faster.

Congrats! Your experience sounds similar to mine. I am looking forward to going back on my 1 year, they were so great!

I know a lot of people on here like Trish but Omar has been great. My surgery & accommodations went PERFECT while I was there.

I wore yoga pants, a tank top, and a North Face jacket home. I was cold most of my trip as I live in AZ.

I was sleeved by Dr. Kelly on 4/9, I received excellent personalized care from both Dr. Kelly, his staff, and the nurses. I wouldn't hesitate to send a family member there. Dr. Garcia has had good reviews as well. I just don't have any experience with him!

I had the pleasure of meeting Tony while I was being sleeved! My experience is almost the same, no need to type what he already wrote!! It was wonderful, I wouldn't hesitate to do it all over again with Dr. Kelly. I know there are some website issues but I did meet his new webmaster while we were there and can only conclude that he is working on a new website.

Congrats! I met a family of 5 women in the van over to TJ who all had the surgery together! They LOVE Dr. Kelly (as did I!)

Feeling MUCH better today. I love Dr. Kelly and the staff here at the hospital. Leak test tomorrow.

Dr. Kelly had no problem filling them out for me. I asked them to be vague, which they did. They even let me proofread the forms and made the changes I asked for.

Thank you for your continued posting! You sound like your doing great! What are they charging you for the whitening? Is it the Zoom? I'd love to have that done.

Omar called me today. He is trying to get in touch with everyone. I just thought I'd update in case anyone was still waiting to hear from their office. He will also be working tomorrow. He spoke great English and we had NO problem communicating. He also sent me his cell number that I can text if I need to! So relieved that this is getting straightened out!!

I did get an email back from Ana saying that Omar is now taking over.

I scheduled my surgery with Dr. Kelly for the 9th. I'm trying to arrange my pickup and other details with Ana. I haven't heard from her in 2 days. Anyone else have this trouble? At this point, I don't even know where they are going to pick me up...so frustrated!

I spent 260 here in the states. I had some injected in my forehead, crows feet, in between my eyebrows, and in my eyebrows (for a little lift). My clinic charges $10.00 per IU. Botox also has a savings program that they enrolled me in. I believe it saves me $20.00 on my next visit. HTH!
