I am also 10 days away. I just keep thinking i have three little children that i want to be around to see graduate, get married, have grandchildren, spend the next 50 years with my husband. The reasons are endless. Not to mention i am so sick of being fat. I am so ready. It does not mean i am not nervous i just focus on the reasons why and you should too. Good luck!

I had PCOS as well. I never had a normal period in my life. My cycle varied from 18-91 days! I was put on Clomid to conceive my son, and my daughter just happened to be concieved on a weird ovulation moment!
I had my band put on 2/13/12, lost about 70lbs, and I have lost all my PCOS symptoms! My periods are regular without the use of any drugs! I am not on birth control (I had a blood clot), and no IUD. My doctor said that once I started loosing weight my PCOS symptoms would fade or be non-exsistent, and they defintely did! I did the surgery more for my overall health and emotional state, but this was an added bonus!

So today is exactly 5 wks post op and I've lost a total of 33lbs :)

I am schedule for the 4th. I can not wait. I had a low carb diet this week and next week full liquid diet. I have stocked up on different Protein Shakes hopefully i find one i like since it will be awhile til i am able to eat any food. Good luck to us all.

Yay! That is my surgery date too! I am so excited.

That's my official date for getting banded. My surgery is at 7:30am on June 4, 2012.
